I just started attempting to form a speedrun for this game following a pretty much pure sorcery casting build. I figured this would be easiest since it seems the least dependent on gear which is for the most part completely random.

There are no rules posted for the any% run but I went under the idea that the dlc bonus loot crate at the very start is off limits since not all players will have it.

The only detours I made were to get the Selkie Veil early on solving most of my mana issues and buying the Magus ring from the Inn in Ayten for +1 sorceries.

Long story short I hit a snag late game where I am simply underlevelled and can't reasonably kill enemies. I was wondering if anyone knows of a fast way to get experience in Klurikon or Alabastra to fix the levelling issue. Up until this point levels were not an issue, then suddenly a wall where I'm only level 17 but should be closer to 20. (If you didn't know, enemies that are higher level than you, specifically dark orange and red enemies, will stagger much less if at all from your attacks and have a much higher damage resistance)

The only other thing that might help, though not as much, would be if there was a way to get a LOT of money before Rathir to buy some fantastic gear. Without levelling mercantile some very useful items cost 750k each

If it wasn't for this levelling issue I think a run could be done in about 4 hours. A lot less than I initially thought :D

I have been interested in this game for a while but been waiting for FeurigerIlias to post his route since he said he could complete the game in 1,5 hours or so.

Dayum. There must be some glitches/skips included in that because I was almost constantly sprinting straight to the objectives for my test. I'm curious now too :p

Well I'm shelving this game now too. I can't find any way to deal with the experience issue and simple grinding in a speedrun is just wrong.

Hell I can't even get to Rathir in much less than 2h let alone beat the game in 1.5h so unless something new comes up...
