Requesting a new category (under misc) for ''New game +'' or ''All story missions"

Given the repetitive nature of any% and 100% with repeating the same missions up to 3 times total, I came up with the idea of an "all story missions" run where you complete every story mission + bosses but skip any replays or minigames. Given that the amount of story missions is not enough to warrant a black belt, I categorize this as ''New Game+" because you'd do the entire run on a max belt/sword status.

Rules:

  • Have a soul grade file (If you're lazy, you can just fabricate it grabbing every flag setter on debug mode)
  • Save the game after completing Battle Arena
  • Timer starts when you the game loads and Ninja is walking out of battle arena
  • Complete every mission from its respective overworld. Given that you have maxed out grades, you'll only complete every mission once. No repeats, extra challenges, or mini-games (given that those will be unplayable too). Once you've completed every mission, complete the overworld's boss and progress on to the next one. Repeat until you've completed every story mission in the game and every boss (in its intended world order)
  • Battle Arena has no purpose to the I-Ninja story, therefore it is not considered a part of the run

Pros:

  • You get to play every main mission once
  • No tedious repeats
  • (nearly) No unskippable cutscenes in-mission
  • No long post-mission reports
  • Run itself is considerably shorter than an any% run
  • Soul sword at all times, making for faster combat
  • Full rage available at all times, making for more varied combat options
  • Absolutely no need to care about coins!

Cons:

  • Setup for the run requires a 100% file (however it can be cheesed out by creating it in debug mode)
  • You actually have to play Shoot the Ships. Yuck.

I already took the liberty to make a test run myself, so that mods can take a look for it themselves. Personally I found this way more engaging, fun, and of course fast than an any% run which usually requires you to actually set aside a chunk of your day

I hope to hear from y'all soon :)
