Hey everyone,
I found a new technique that may enable jumps or paths that are not currently humanly possible. Wanted to share; I'm not very good at the game but I think there can be cool applications/potential new skips.

That technique was actually discussed briefly as we were thinking of the rules and is why all runs must be completed without pauses/quitouts since the in-game timer doesn't run while you're setting up.

Thanks for the feedback! What you said makes sense regarding the rules and in-game timer. I'll do some exploring to see if this enables anything crazy--so far I haven't tried it for anything except for pogo jumps like in the video, but maybe it's possible to use it in other ways too. If I find any cool other uses I'll post a follow-up.
