So you wanna be good at this great GBA title? No problem.

Start Story mode and choose Megalon. He has the most power in his attacks (Yes, even greater than MechaGodzilla). There are seven fights, two bonus rounds, and one final boss in the game, and you'll be spamming the tail whip (B button) for most of the game.

Side note: This is just my perspective of my 2nd place run, and I can't be sure if this is the battle schedule/exact order of opponents you'll be getting every single time.

Anyway. Mash the A button to get out of those long "CNN" cutscenes to get right into the action.

Fights 1-2: -Fight 1: Mothra - Tail whip it into the closest corner available so it can't escape. Keep mashing B. Don't let off, even if your enemy is on the ground/invincible.

-Fight 2: MechaGodzilla - Same thing, except you have a Mothra to help you. Get it to a corner and mash B. He might jump up to one of the snowy layers above, and that's fine. Just jump up there with him, corner him, and mash.

Bonus Stage #1: -Do nothing. If you're bored, let the UFO's just run into you for fun, or tail whip a few of them, but you can't make this exactly-90-second stage go by any faster.

Fights 3-5: -Fight 3: Rodan - He's one of the tougher fights, but mashing B and cornering can never fail you. He can spray a green toxic gas at you which incapacitates you for a moment, but once it's done, get back to the action.

-Fight 4: King Ghidorah and Mothra - Mothra's turned against you this round, but you have MechaGodzilla to help you out. Tail whip Ghidorah and make sure to get him out first. He's very dangerous and has a magnetic shield that pulls you in and blasts you, taking up time and health. Once he's done, Mothra is a cakewalk.

-Fight 5: Mothra, King Ghidorah, and MechaGodzilla - This one's a free-for-all. There are no teams, it's just every man for himself. It may be tempting to get MechaGodzilla out first, but he's not as dangerous as Ghidorah. The suggested mash-B order is Ghidorah, MechaGodzilla, then Mothra.

Bonus Stage #2: -They give you 30 seconds grace on this one. It's only a minute instead of the previous minute-and-a-half, and there's no way to speed it up. Let some helicopters hit you if you want a laugh, or tail whip them to practice your skills.

Fights 6-7: -Fight 6: Godzilla 90s - The easiest monster in the entire game, by far. Tail whip him and he's done in about 19 seconds.

-Fight 7: Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah - I assume they ran out of ideas since this is the second free-for-all in the last three fights. Anyway, corner them, whip them, and go Ghidorah-then-Rodan-then-Mothra.

Final Boss: -Mecha King Ghidorah - This will be the most difficult fight, and will take up the most time during this run. Jump at him about in-the-middle of the stage, and with enough height, press A while in-air to hit his head. He'll be disabled long enough for you to run to him, jump-A his chest three times, and leap left to the center of the stage. Rinse and repeat, don't die, and get the power-ups he drops with each Hydra-like decapitation. Time ends when you make the last hit on MechaGhidorah.

If you start time when you control Megalon, and do all these things, you're looking at a sub-13:00 run. Thanks for reading, and enjoy the game!
