I don't know if the forums are the right place for this or not.

Following the strange URL issue in https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/thread/pdl4j , I used the API to find all games that have "http" or "www" as part of their abbreviation.

My guess is that there are few people who are not very familiar with the site; and after getting moderation (mostly to web games), get confused by the "URL" field in the "Edit game" page.

Well that's quite a find. There are probably also links with naughty words too

Probably better to forward this to a full mod in the future. Anyway yeah we'll take a look at this. Thanks for the report.
