I had sent a support ticket requesting the game "sonic 4 snes", and they had asked to contact the sonic fangames mods.

So I communicated with the mods and this was the response:

so how could i request the game without considering it a fan game? or maybe it's not possible?

It is a fan game, so... this seems pretty open and shut, unfortunately. If you've already tried the Speedy Gonzales route they suggested and that didn't go anywhere then it seems you're out of luck.

Talking to that game's moderators would be a good place to start, I imagine
