So, if people ever run this, which I find unlikely, considering the endgame - there'd be an argument for 100% being every course won; a variant with no casino; and then any%. As such, I'm only going to run Any% because it's just a lot of F1 grinding.

I figure when someone does a run I'll make the category. I was never able to consistently beat the race to transition to s rank? So... when I have 4 hours to watch the run I'll verify it.

Sorry for the mess of F1 races then :) I'll try again this weekend to try not to have 3 hours of driving F1 races until my thumb hurts...

I started to run this :) Personally, I'm most interested in a "100% No Casino" and a "Any% Casino" run.

Regarding 100%: It turns out the prize for winning 1st is enough to win the next race (nearly always). The order of races/upgrades is an interesting routing puzzle. If Casino were allowed, 100% would be "Buy the best parts and then run every track." Without Casino, races are as difficult as you can manage.

Any% w/Casino saves about 1 hour from the 100% run by skipping 26 tracks. This category just skips the main game and goes straight to the endgame mode. Without Casino, I suspect it will involve grinding a race over and over for money. Sounds boring imo.

How do you feel about starting any% from a savefile with $1 Million already? The Casino is literally the first thing you do in any%, and afterwards you have literally nothing except the money. I understand "grinding RNG" is part of speedrunning, but... can we make an exception? I hate grinding casino RNG before I can even start a run. I did some math and it takes about 1 hour per jackpot, on average.

If I can say, "The runners make the categories," I'm totally okay with starting from a savefile after winning the jackpot, and I'm the only runner right now. I'll make a good, clean any% with the casino grind at some point, not sure when... this game is long, and the grind is uncertain.
