IMO the best butterfly is Wagtail since their bomb is the best in the game. Their bomb has a strong impact for big guys and lingering damage to kill small bugs.

Great opinion. However, Wagtail suffers from a lack of AoE (area of effect). Compared to Cloudbreak (the superior butterfly), Wagtail lacks the ability to clear monsters.

Wagtail does, however, have much more DPS (damage per second) than Cloudbreak. This would only apply to the boss phase, but that phase only accounts for 20% of each chapter.

You are putting in some points that I do not agree with. Wagtails bomb is a lingering AoE (area of effect) bomb that can clear out the small bugs (as I stated with in my first comment). Cloudburst does massive damage, but their bombs take a very long time to explode unlike Wagtail's.
