New fastest completion of the game, but this time I played on Difficult, where damage is considerably higher from enemies and hazards, making damage boosting less forgiving. This run is public as of August 16th, 2023, in memory of my late brother Mitchell, who first got me to play games on August 16th, 1996, with this game, Earthworm Jim Special Edition. My last two speedruns of this game (on normal and practice difficulty, respectively) premiered on August 16th, 2021 and August 16th, 2022, so this is three records three years in a row on the game that started it all for me.
