# The auto splitter file to be used with LiveSplit. Required for all speedruns with game version 3.0 and up.

### To get the auto splitter to update automatically, you can instead activate it through LiveSplit. To do so, follow the steps below:

1. Open LiveSplit
2. Right-click on the timer and select "Edit Splits..."
3. Change the **Game Name** to "Escape the Backrooms", and choose the desired **Run Category**
4. Click **Activate** to enable the auto splitter
5. *(Optional)* Remove the old "Scriptable Auto Splitter" from your layout under "Edit Layout...", if you were using it manually before
