  1. Newly found Bugs.
  1. **Ougi no Sho (fan shaped letter) shinobi item. Found when transfered 2 to Maleficent Class 4 N elf mage. Effects stack. Looks like the Attack may only be AP and DP +10ish though. It does not seem to do anything for teh dragon rider. ALSO it is only +10Atk and Def in effect for the stack. So having 5 in inventory increases attack by 50.

  9. **Placing A unit on a Deleted Unit spot Means new Unit is not included in Enemy summon unit calculation. I think they may have to die FIRST. Not something I was using.

  19. **Boost items done in search stay with them when they go in to battle. So go to search, use Haste Potion, advance, retreat then advance again, and you have units out of the gate with +3 movement. Does using twice give the full 5 turns? Very abusable.
  20. **(Bug?) Your leaders can summon units on enemy castles.
  21. Merman ship – humanoid unit can go into water. ** Bug – changes movement to Mership, elves no longer can move through woods well. Movement near 9 has has like 2-3 movement.
  22. ** Elf Mirror works even on Chaos Elf Warriors. Get 2 in combo with the Black sword and they never will get a side effect. Elf Mirrors are supposed to be for Lawful only. They do not seem to completely null sideffects when you have 5 of them and a golden axe. Limited?
  23. When in a search party, if you have another member other than the human fighter that accepts the ninja training, it goes to the map screen then hard locks. MAY not be correect, if you press cancel then the menu pops up and you can place a guy. English fix?
  24. Potion glitch - use one tpe once then use another type the othet type lasts for 5 turns.
  25. Save/Load will let enemy get counterattack again.
  26. Placement Exchange Glitch - REally useful. So you exchange the placement of the dragon rider and the ninja with non placed units. The multihex magic targets them but instead hits the units you exchanged them with. And in this case they continually die each time they are hit. Awesome. The caveat is that it only works if the unit is in teh same place on the map as when you switched the unit. Weird shit though with the ninja as the unit that gets hit instead of the other ones, the Gunpowder goes away each time the unplaced ninja dies. Also any unit put in the corner upper left when it dies will be unselectable (maybe saveload would fix it though). Gunpowder does not work on guys in corner.
  27. Placement Echange Glitch with Vortex. This gets strange. But it is great
  28. Action Injection Gltich – Basically while the game is doing an action if you press a button on a "good frame" you can have that action do something. Works in many different scenarios. Cool for using the funeral bells multiple times with a single priest.
  29. Cursed ring Full Health Glitch – After you attack the ring will atake away -5 hp. If you get to very low health like 1-3 hp then the shit will give you full health. Ring only works for Non-Riders and Chaos.

  3. *Living Power Staff (Riryoku Staff (Force Staff)- (効果×CL×2(理論上最大100) ) - Crazy good. CL 5 mages get 100 damage, cl 4 get 80. Arguably the best weapon in the game. Get from Yunas area in Aqua below Quentin. Works well with CL 4 mages and Crystal. Susan it would work amazing too.
  4. Elf Shoe – Elves get +2 movement with this on.
  5. **Ougi No Sho – Stacks. What would this do with Susan . +50 attack only.
  6. *Staff – increases magic attack by 5%
  7. *Magic Shield – increases magic by 10%
  8. Angel Robe – Changes movement to Low Altitude Flight. Can buy in Willis, after returning it to normal for like 10K. Can also find it in first velonesse level. Movement is garbage though.
  9. Shinobi Knife – gives +1 movement. And its free.
  10. Swift Axe – MOB +1 and its good against flying, so against them it would do 66 atk. はやてのおの │ C │ A │ 戦 │ 44│ 1│2000│4│

  12. Elf Ring – Archer – Range attack (in japanese it says Shatei koka、射程効果 , range effect) is increased 10% (?). Does this stack? Does this mean attack with a bow or the actual range is increased? Seems to do nothing.
  13. Elf Mirror – Magic (status spell) evasion up – might be usable on Aqua with his Beast Voice.
  14. Ninja no Kote – Anyone can equip and get the atk bonus +10.
  15. Cursed Ring – increase attack by 30, each turn hp-5. Some island with Velonesse has this apparently. Glitch low health like 1-3 then it underflows and you get full health.
  16. Seinaru Yubi (Healing Ring)– increase hp by 5 per turn. Stackable? Get one from saving town from lava, and by search that town that also has merman ship next to it.
  17. Merman ship – humanoid unit can go into water. ** Bug – changes movement to Mership, elves no longer can move through woods well. Movement near 9 has has like 2-3 movement.
  18. Mizokumo – H20 Water Spider – Allows ninja to walk on water. Bug – if transferred it allows the wearer to also get the walking on water thing.
  19. Sword Armor (Retribution armor in English) Arliman does massive dmage to winged Horse Rider like 600, in turn this armor deals 1/2 damage back. Using rebirth with that unit kills arliman fast.
  20. Crystal Mace – magic gets 25% boost. クリスタルメイス│ L │(124) │ 僧 │  33│ 1│7500│*│自分の魔法効果25%UP

  23. Speed Potion – Can get in Quentin? Movement goes up 2.
  24. Haste Potion - Can get in Cheshire I think earliest. Movement goes up 3.
  25. Yami no Kagami (Mirror Dark)– increases magic by 30% (found very early earliest is Quentin I think)
  26. Ankoku no Hitomi (Evil Eye) – increases magic by 50% Found in NAUTIA bottom right map ( found on bridge on last Veloneese level)
  27. Magic Stone – increase magic range by 30%. (?)
  28. Akuma no Tsume (Demon's Nail) – Increase Magic Range by 50%. *射程効果50%UP 3-5ターン有効 )(?)
  29. Crow Clk – Like Krystal's Magic Resist.
  30. One potion increases attack +10 , another by 20. Do not stack.
  31. Enemies attack by targetting the lowest number party member. #1 Kr ystal will get targeted above all else.
  32. **Bosses calculate what enemies to summon based on the average class level of the team you have on the field. Found a bug about deleting a guy then placing a guy on that spot, prevents them from being calculated. Using 3 CL4 guys and 6 Cl 1 gives vcery weak enemies from teh bosses.
  33. You can summon up to 9 guys in a single turn by summon from the one sopt on the castle and then moving to another open castle spot.
  34. Using Sirens(harpies) and your normal guys in conjunction is very effective.
  35. Having an item used twice gives them 5 turns of use of it. If you cast it again right before it goes out does it go back to 5 turns or does it only add 3? Look in hex.
  36. Using Transport may be AMAZING for getting around. Units can still move after it is used and they get caught up in it. Can you use this to traverse mountains and rivers? Like in the first level? How does it work? I don't think it alwas transports them 10 hexes. Is hexes tranported damage based?
  37. Ninja dies and will kill Karmak last hp point instead of needing to get Summon Water.
  38. Summon Spells may outright kill bosses (not karmak i think)
  39. When mages switch alignments they can learn the other spells , not sure i knew that.
  40. Elf Neutral Mages are pretty strong. Lol.
  41. Dwarf lawful warriors get 7 str.
  42. Magic Evasion is strictly for the side effect of magic it seems. Blizzard breath won't freeze, metamorphize won't transform, that kind of thing. Maybe glitchy with certain types of magic like rebirth. Not sure if Beast Voice would be nullified.
  43. If you go to a map then retreat, in the camp menu are the items you WOULD have seen if you had completed the map. For this all you need to do would be to select the next map in ADVANCE, the exit, and go to teh cmap.
  44. The SEED for which attacks hit or miss and at what damage, and whether a unitis paralyzed is THE SAME on every map regardless of when you get there. It seems to move forward by attacks, counterattacks, and certain spells (esp attack spells), and movement. So if you find soemthing that always works go with that.

  1. Ok found something amazin with karmak, where literally he won't do anything. I had loaded before this not sure if that has anythign to do with it. Neutral mage is #5, and the one closest to him is a necromancer #6, and then farthest is 7. the neutral one is the highest level of the bunch. So would this work on ALL bosses? Is there a magic range where they literally do nothing? Or do you have to load once?
  2. Main strategy on hard guys. Save/load glitch. When the enemy is around 50 % health the enemy boss will want to use megarestore. In THAT case you can mess with it by attacking something or using magic with someone like krystal, since that is random. Once they are around 30% they will definitely use it, but you can SAVE/LOAD to have them to a magic attack like Hell Fire. However once the enemy gets to around 15% health they WILL use it regardless so you have to kill them before hand. I think the flag resists once somene takes damage.
  3. Not that Magic Resist will GO AWAY if you use it befroe the save/load glitch. So use it after loading.
  4. If there is a miss try to have a unit in a previous round use a magic, or have someone use a magic since magic does NOT miss. Only effect magic can, like paralyze.

Ideas

  1. Silver Axe good against Undead effect x 2 – Are the enemy leaders considered undead? YES, itsw very effective.
  2. Gold and silver axes from pond, SUPER expensive and good to sell. Although the effects

  2. The golden axe gives 50% magic evasion. If I buff up a unit with this to 100% will magic not work against them? Maybe use an elf chaos warrior and give them tons of
  3. Do items you have on in one alignment stay equiped when you change alignment? Miror shield gives 25% evasion.
  4. Black Sword gives 魔法回避率80%UP. Whatever that means. Evasion of magic side effects.
  5. まふうじのこな - Magic Seal Powder - 魔法回避率30%UP 3-5ターン有効 this works for everyone but!

  1. If I have magic evasion 100% would spells even effect the unit? Would the Summon Spirits even hurt you? Would Spells like Rebirth and Shit MISS? If you place a guy on a deleted spot would those spells even work?
  2. Do Athena Orb / Blood Candle even do anything? NO.
  3. Does Neutral have a phase of day where they do more damage?
  4. Funeral Bell – Is this for real? This would save huge amounts of time with those damn Skeleton Knights. And does it stack? YES AND YES!   6. Make Enemies Attack you? Can i Pull them away from their leader? Where do i get this? まものよせのふだ│ A │ A │ A │ │ 0│3500│3-5ターン、使用ユニットの攻撃目標プライオリティ上がる │ . Kind of like above only in reverse, Same as if you changed the position of the unit.

  8. Ninja may be very good to manipulate the counterattack to get teh critical hit with the Assassin Blade. No, its rare...
  9. How does the Holy mace or whatever work with the critical hits? Where do i get it? I think its a mace from a church? Or something it does do criticials against undead but...
  10. How does Treagar work with critical hits? Hits and counters, but rare.

  5. Elf archers may be excellent units at high levels. Fast and they can use many dif weapons too right?
  6. Can the ninja/Amon/Susan/Robin actually use the LVPOW STF? Ninja no. Dragon rider yes, Robin unknown. Amon yes. Krystal yes.
  7. Need to experiment with the Breath Lawful Mage spell. May be very useful if it really blows them away 10 hexes. Only cl4 guys and flying units would move that fast. Seems limited to only use on enemies.
  8. Experiment more with Crystal's Transport spell. It may be able to be abused pretty heavily if done right. Becuase units can move and then still be active. Can you use it to traverse mountains and rivers? It calculates the terrain somehow so cannot go past unpassable terrain or large distances over tough terrain.
  9. Do elemental weapons have effects over than on resistance? Are these sepcial effects dependant on having them equipped?
  10. What weapons are actually effective against the bosses? Weapons that use non lethal damage boosts against undead Like Sliver Sword or Silver Axe. Warlord seems to have nothing effective against it when it is an enemy leader.
  11. I COULD try out every weapon and see if they have abnormal effects. Maybe write a script? Try to find out what races are actually good against the bosses. Find out what weapons are good. Find out the actual vs expected results. Hell I could do it against all enemies. Although there are charts. Also I can randomize the inventory and see if anything unexpected pops up in the results. Every combination of every item would be a lot but that could be done after the main weapons are done.
  12. I could also create a script that would write to sql tables, that way the data would be easier to mess with.
  13. Could make equipment charts for each unit. What items can ACTUALLY be equipped or used? That one guy legalizefreedom did a massive amount of work, buti think it may be error prone.

  15. Elven Priests might be amazing. Anti attack and anti magic spells. The Elf priest can even use the LVP STF. And a Holy Mace/Dispel Mace, with a ciritical chance against undead. AND Mag Chaos priest would suck. 2 hp + 1 atk. Elven Neutral Warrior gets 2hp 4 atk, Neutral Elven Mage gets 4hp and 3 atk. Velonnese is the neck, along with Arliman. Meteor barely does double digit damage.
  16. Experiement with offensive item use against bosses.
  17. Try that one item the magic ring – i think from crystal's katrina quest. Ladybaxa was saying there was a programming erorr with it. Try that item with various things. Liek alignment. Maybe put it in 5th or 1st place int he list then try switching alignments see if it allows you to keep some items equipped.
  18. Try using Magic Stones twice, and on archers twice, see if it does anything.
    1. check if deleting then moving krystal on that spot will prevent her from behing calculated.

  19. Best exp area should be with dth dragons and a mage with an area spell.
  20. Crystal Mace for priests is in Gameesh need to pray to get it.
  21. May need 4 wizards if the priests do not work out.
  22. Try and get teh winged horse Rider and dragon rider fast. This may make shit super easy. Winged rider with Mad Axe or Trident, Flame Sword or those kind of weapons could make shit easy. Use Lrystal to get winge rider.
  23. Are dragon Rider's stats influenced by temporary boost items? What about permamnet effect items like Ougi no Sho? Or Elf Shoes or Sultis Sword .
  24. With Krystal maybe one of those magic chance success things could make blizzard breath 100%.
  25. SO maybe level up that wyvern unitl it makes sense to do so, maybe use an elf too, elfshoes? Elf items do nothing for dragon rider, ninja items do not seem to work right at all, and h20 spider fucks up teh unit perm.
    1. EXPERIENCE. When a unit casts magic on you do YOU gain experience? If so then that would be an easy way to gain exp.NO
  26. That level with Karmak and teh bridges would be awesoe to level with dth dragons for mages. I could play a game of tradeoff with that first mership you get or just send krystal and a wyvern, and harpies/sirens that might work well. So black sword and 2 elf no kagami's work reall well. Once i dropped all of them and only had teh black sword he turned into a goat immidiately. When he has the golden axe and 5 kagami's he lasts for a turn or two, which is longer than average.

Can krysdtal 's transport move units that fly or can walk on water with mership out of the cliff area? Useful for second karmak battle

Are thier 2 tile pile/spears?

Can Krystal take Katrina's place to learn the summon water spell?

Skeleton Warrior is probably the best enemy to use to level up with that or Golden Chimera/Giant Monticore since you get the counterattack. NO, GD Manitcore and GD Chimera are only Class level 3). Skeleton Warriros would be better since they are bad at humanoids. With Death Dragon, Gt Lich, Cerberus, or Basilisk you don't. Wyverns are a bit too strong, and forget the Great Hydras Arliman can summon...

Was changing the spell value in the units ram, then when the game will level it up it adds 1.

It very much seems like durign the battles there is a specific sequence of spells that are learnt. The search seems to be different prehaps. I wonder if there are ways of manipulating it so it gives me like 4 of the same spell in a row. One time during search i got three Air spells in a row.

Here's an idea if I hire a mage, then do they learn that next spell? Then i could hire and fire to have someone learn something specific.

Dargon warrior elves are not affected by elf shoes. :(/ The mizugumi effect after transfer goes away also if you transfer a mizugumi you hold in inventory lol. The gold Chimera is a good companion for the sorcerors, place it 4 spaces away on Karmak for example and it sucks the hits in. Along with its lik 12 movement it moves. Weak, but a good punching bag.

YOU can only change alignment once! Derp. This may not be true, you may be able to change once per class level. Even if status attacks miss the status can still effect the enemy – ghost scythe, enemy liches are good examples.

Strange that 4 hex distance placement thing on Karmak does work. I think it works on boss enemies that do not have 4 range spells. Warlord + Karmark, and Aracna? Arliman?

Ougi no Sho glitch does not work with the dragon rider...fuck! Cannot stack damage Maybe hacing 6 elf mages might work quite well, becuase then I could switch the mages i am using, and transfer the water spider between them from map to map.

Krystal can keep those in her inventory

In teh first map maybe summon some elves to become mages, and a priest, and one warrior(?) is teh dragon warrior even worth it? It takes 150 exp and no damage stacking, but its movement is great.

Would the ninja gunpowder prevent Arliman from going to his second form?

Would ninja gunpowder prevent us from GOING to arliman if we killed the last form of velneese with it even after the conditions are met for arlimna?

For arliman I could switch between two units that use the armorof retribution. Whichever units take the most damage. Prob like hobbit fighter, and teh winged horse rider. Use krystal and a prisst that knows the ressurection spell.

Check out Blood Candle's effect is nothing.

Ok found something amusing! . The The dragon rider has a gltich where near all weapons and armors have no added attack or defense. The only things that have an effect are weapons and armors WITH effects. He can equip weapons with his alignment and race, but he ignores class. Is this true?

OK found something that pretty much wipes all that other shit out. In the ITEM screen inbetween maps the Dragon Rider can equip the LIVING POWER STAFF. Oh SHIT! Now the Dragon Rider gets a weapon with 100 attack! WEIRDLY enough you cannot equip it in teh actual battle, but only in teh item screen. Wonder how many other items are like that? The Alignment seems to be consistent, but the race? Whatever is not.

Winged Horse Rider – TURN IT CHAOS IMMIDIATELY! For some reason then its actual attack registers and its a good unit! It ALSO FUCKING CAN EQUIP THE LIVING POWERSTAFF IN THAT ITEM SCREEN BETWEEN LEVELS! BUT SHIT YOU CANNOT SAVE AND RELOAD OR HE BECOMES ASS AGAIN!

Silver Axe is incredibly amazing against undead, I think it completely ignores defense or ignores the Type Chart! Otherwise I do not understand the damage numbers at all. With Speed Axe – 164 damage, with Silver Axe -260 dmg.

Well according to above maybe that is what these special attack damage boost items do! They may ignore the race weakness chart and then deal the extra damage. This may be quite good. Like the Lance weapon is good against humanoids, but I think humans are pretty bad against the leaders, but they could be considered human. Would the humble lance be extremely good? The lance is very good against teh humans running around, better than the Living power staff, but....its weaker against the Warlord, so not really holding a lot of hope with velonnesse. It's not that great aginst him.

Try winged horse rider with Lance when its Lawful. But the fact that the Chaos alignment makes it ACTUALLY useable makes me still want to switch it out.

An Elven Winged Horse Rider, cannot use the elf shoes. Or the marathon shoes. Those extra items seem to have no effect.

Where are these? The sliver plated one I want for Karmak. You know I have a feeling there is some bad translation somewhere or maybe teh weapon does not exist in the game? Amon has a silver sword in a quest...good against undead?

Ok found another interesting thing to be exploited – The h20 water spider sells for 10000 in the item store, but you can buy it for 5000.

So just to verify it looks like you CAN complete the game if you temper the Seal of Demons, you have to kill the first velonesse with mages. Need to fully test it. Almost killed him, but needed 1 hp more. Just use the cheat engine to find the hp, give him 1 and then hit him, see if he dies.

That elf yubiwa...i wonder if it would effect the Griffin rider?

Geez another beastrider bug. You cannot use them to raise other units, at least with Chaotic Priest's version of it. They just die and give 1 exp point. Although sometimes it works? Huh? Is it being treated like an attack?

Oh can blizzard Breath make units take more damage? Like use blizzard breath around a boss or something and then see if an enemy takes more from them? With sowrd armor it maiught be useful.

The Attack on Ghost for the original Winged Horse rider is good? Maybe he will be good on Undead Karmak and Veloneese as teh vanilla Winged Horse Rider?

Ok this unit can never be changed back it seems. Also you cannot change its alignemnt even after it calass levels to class 5. Interestingly you CAN recover some of its attack. After conversion it will do 1 damage, becuase I guess it has 0 attack. After leveling once (power staff cure is an option) then its attack will go up , you can use teh attack or fire optio, and you could use the Pwr Lvl staff to give it some attack. Still weak as all hell though.

Ok I want to try charons for leveling. I think this might work. Get a really high level wyvern with charons. I think that would work well. Hopefully you get exp from getting ranged attack ,a dn hopefully they get a counterattack. Otherwise it may need to be lichs + charons. Or giant manitcore + charons? TO get Charon to appear you need a class 4 and 3 + leader. Charons do NOT work well. They often times do not attack and they hit dragons and humans for large amounts of damage. However having a couple charons alongside the lichs might be ideal, as long as they do less damage

Ok the try this with the Winged Horse rider. While CL4 chaneg alignment to Chaos. Then once it class levels up change it again to Lawful. See if it is still shit after saving and loading. Well first test with a shitty unit to see if I am remembering that detail right. If that is the case teh winged horse rider could be quite useful. IF I Can find a way to be able to save and load and still have a non broken winged horse rider, I may be able to substitute that for a dragon rider potentially. Then Armer might be a viable option. Since then you can get a winged horse rider early give it the LVL POW STF and it would be quite strong. As a human it could get teh hero armor and shield. Then for Arliman you could use the fact that Arliman WRECKS the unit along with the Armor of Retribution, just keep healing the unit (or resurrecting it). Otherwise I guess you could fucking do the game without save/loading once you get teh unit geez. Is it even good against karmak or velonnese?

Ok An idea/ What happens when you have transfered the h20 water spider to unit and they right before tehy transform into a dragon rider or a winged horse rider? For winged horse rider see if that fixes the glitch with them. Dragon rider... well, i am expecting bad things like it perma bereaking the movement like before.

Really need to understand how to manipulate damage values. The level 55 wyvern dealt over 250 damage to aracna with Fire ONCE. But all the other times the damage values were all over the place. The values seem linked to some global value, but not sure how it works.

Can a Chaos Paladin become the white horse rider? no

If I have multiple mages that have that holy wind spell can I perform some kind of strange map hopping with it? Can I transport allies with it like with Krystal's spell? Lawful mages right? I wonder If i could move in some crazy zig zag. Or maybe just have it as an assist? Elf mages move far. I coul dhave the elf mages on guard and then manipulate them to only get holy wind, or also another spell.

Targus – could maybe save/load after cutscene then the targus thing would be passable nstead of ahving to wait a turn? The vortex/holy wind wold come in great handy use here. Could you use holy wind across the water and directly onto Velonesses units? That would be hilarious!

If you give the flying unit the h20 water spider and change their movement to ground, then give them the elf shoes /marathon shoes can they then move with teh extra movement of the shoes?

Th e Gaia armor might change the movement of units... can teh flying uits then chage the movement type, the gaia armor might work.

Test using 2 Aggro/Evade potions with two guys teh same class. Also try it near a boss with low health, wonder if that would do anything.

Defense is really weird. An extra 50 defense from teh Hero armor only gives me about 20 attack less so instead of say 69 I say 49. At low attack where a skeleton hits me for 9, an extra 18 defense only gives me 7 defense so I get 7 dmg? How the heck is that calculated?

Ninja kote also works for chaos warrior, can take place of an ougi no sho, has same effect. Needs to be equipped to work. NINJA KOTE WORKS FOR DRAGON RIDER. Makes a small difference like +12. Silver Axe alone does 528 damage, but with the Ninja Kote he does 540.

An elven warrior can get +3 movement. Swift axe/shinobi knife , and elf shoes. Ougi no sho does not stack with them. I wonder if because they are not human? Marathon shoes might stack on humans ahah. But ougi nosho works for elves,but the elf shoes take precedence.

Oh SHIT the save load trick on bosses to prevent regain/megarestore does NOT work if there is a unit confused and it attacks someone! In this case the priest attacked a unit and killed it.

What might be a faster speedrun would be to possibly go Karmak first. Make a mage with explosion/ice storm, maybe two of them, the wyvern, and a palain, and the warlord. Oh wait, I would STILL need the h20 spider aha for Karmak 2.

I am thinking that maybe leveling the paladin to get the winged horse rider would make a big difference. If I could get that earlier. Get the warlord early, then give all the exp to the class level 3 knight at the end of the levels.

Ok If you combine a Lawful Warlord with a Wyvern it becomes a Lawful Dragon Rider. And you cannot change its alignment afterward. But you CAN save and load and it does not become shit. Unfortuneatley the Whorse rider's ITEM requires Lawful alignment.

Ijust thought of a hilarious thing for arliman. Using tons of gunpowders, along with sacrifcing the ninja a LOT, and using a wizard for goat, and Cl 3 priests for the sacrifice spell. Krystal's Confuse actually makes teh counter go forward to change attack dmg and miss randomization.

The ninja sword cannot be manipulated to put on critical hits by using allied units to attack. It will do critical hits on attack or on counterattack, but it seems to work mostly when he is surrounded by enemies.

With this freakshow above. What happened was that I was in this battle with karmak on at NAUTIA, but i wanted to test some other bs. But i had not put any guards or anything so I was surrounded. So i could not put any guards out. It seems the game gets confused if you are pincer attacked. Not sure if theis happens on all maps. But i was on the desert map when i was pincered and could not put out any guards, then I retreated. It looks like my leader unit and an ENEMY unit are STACKED on teh same castle!. This would be hilarious if I could do something like this for the velonnese battle. You cannot select your leader when it is like this either. You can attack the unit over the leader unit. You can also SUMMON OR PLACE guys right on top of Krystal bizarrely enough.

ALSO if you retreat your "army" goes back to quentin, you lose this castle and somehow get back there. Which is interesting and a way maybe to avoid teh soft lock game over?

Idea here is to not use guards. If you fight velonnese, retreat. Then fight that other castle that gets taken over, retreat. Then retreat again. Then fight to take over castles near velonnese you can eseentailly surround yourself. So you fight velonense then retreat once or twice and you will have ONE castle, and the map looks all corrupt. If you Save/load in this strange state with 3 castles and 51 towns, you will be unable to go to the map. So you canot never continue, not that conrtinueing would help, you are completely screwed with this since only one turn away is game over when they take Quentin.

using staff with Star Blade .after using item looks like you could move the cursor again. You may be able to select a nearby unit before it levels or soemthing.It looks like you can but in input right at teh end of the last period on the "gained exp...". It may only be possible to have teh gtich occure with multi hex effects. Maybe ONLY the funeral bell at worst. Yes you can interrupt those to some strange effects like the cursor will go off somewhere else.

So this Item Use Interrupt is mental. Just spam a button and sometimes it will get in.

You can select ACTIVE unit next to another during the item iterrupt, but if you perform an action that you should be able to do, like attack an enemy when one is not next to you, you get a hard lock glitch. Nice.

Found no way of NOT using an item.

Also the leveling with exp is super aggressive in this game. Once you get the experience you immiidatealy get a level, the prompt can come later or not at all it does not matter. Later as in you select a different unit to move or whatever. Never as in using the item to get a level up, then going to save/load and the prompt will disappear. The prompt even appears after you delete the nit that just got the level.

The prmpt interrrupt can work while teh enemy leader is dying. It seems as soon as the game can it will end theround. So while you postpoen it indefinitely while in a unit's "moving" state, once you get out it ends the round. Also if you end the round in teh interrupt while Velonnese is in teh dying animation.

Normal units get an interrpt. I wonder if you kill MANY units at once if the interrupt can last much longer? Like ending a round while enemy units are dying ahaha. Tried this after killing 7 guys got all the inputs in with dead guys (used krystals melt earth on an enemies and 6 of my own sirens). After ending ground the enemy does nothing until all the units finish dying.

Trying to move a unit that was killed put has the move action available lets you "move" them a far distance, but then it hard locks. Nice. Attacking, will attack the unit that did the orignal action with teh dead one...weird.

{ Placement Exchange Glitch Actually useful. So you exchange the placement of the dragon rider and the ninja with non placed units. The multihex magic targets them but instead hits the units you exchanged them with. And in this case they continually die each time they are hit. Awesome. The caveat is that it only works if the unit is in teh same place on the map as when you switched the unit. Thehplacement exchange really does just exchange teh data of the place. If you exhange the placement like this Pegasus-> Siren, will affect the Siren. If you then exhancge Siren -> Dragon Rider it will move the Dragon Rider even thuogh yor spell was cast on teh Pegasus.

Wondre fi you could have an eternally dying ninja? Yes, but it does not seem useful. Could use it to kill teh ninja from a distance so he blows up though! YES YOU CAN. Place ninja on space away from spot, then "attack" the ninja with multi hex spells. You can use the gunpowder to attack the boss.

Ok the Vortex spell is great, it seems to move the units on the map...EVEN AFTER THE PLACEMENT!! Not sure we could use this for susan though. Seeing as how she is a sub leader, she may always be in #2/#3 placement. Also it seems to move them in relation to Krystal, so the actual unit cast on does NOT matter. Only the casting unit's location in relation to the one being affected.

Mage casts spell to do near 9000 damage on self. If the mage's own position is included in the spell the game freaks and does massive damage to self. IF there was a way of manipulating a units on map position with its actual posisiton on to an enemy then the ENEMY takes the damage. I saw this with moving a necromancer position onto a greater lich, then casting Ice Storm, or fire storm.

Loks like Krystal is the only one with a multi-hex transport spell.

If you move a unit to a speicfic spot then exchange their place with a dead unit, the enmy will not be teleported. Interesting. This could be used, instead of having to do more complicated measures to keep an ennemy nearby after using a transport spell, like blocking off the path with multiple guys.

There is probably a camp menu glitch when you have a lot of items. Two items to look at arre the sun stone, and the h20 water spider. The h20 water spider seems gltiched sine you can buy it for 5000 and then sell it for 10000. The sun stone has some odd text glitch properties when you move it around.

Cursed ring on non rider chaos warrior units adds +30 damage. Seems to add FLAT 30 damage which is VERY nice.

Most of the on map values on the Prog Cd RAM, the chage name is on the VRAM. Placement of unit is along with rest of unit data where it is near. The placement is not consistent, but i do not understand how the game determines the placement. Normal units put on teh field seem to have the placement reset. In some way.

the unit placement does affect the damage they take frrom magic. Thier equpiemnt comes into play as well. So unequip and place on shitty place for max damagae.

  1. search with it before in beginning place one hex away from enemy. Try placing not on castle unit. Unequpi armor. Kill with mages.
  2. So get teh ninja to the enemy, have it die then "KILL IT" again. Since its position should be at the boss.
  3. I wonder if some of teh castles are nearby and the placement can be shared??

ok you can use the action input input with the funeral bell to enter hidden town. Have the priest on the hidden town, then have teh other on an active town. Use teh funeral bell, and keep mashing button to get the menu to pop up on the other unit on the active town. Then the priest will be able to enter hidden town, sice the option comes up. Maps do not overlap 0,0 does nothing speical, max map position is 2727 max point does nothing also

enemy leader REALLY does not want to hit himself. With the placement exchange gltich if a mage hits a unit that you exchange with himself he does MASSIVE damage to himself. So I do not see a way for the enemy leader to cast it on himself since when the multi hex magic is cast near them it only encircles them.

With Remote Placement maybe only have a couple mages might work along with the ninja and his search placement gltich during search next leader with gunpowder.

Remote Placement can make the first level really fast possibly. Hydras, and sirens and the fighter

Can vortex move dead units? NO, can it can move ones alive unplaced units Also it does not seem to move units placed in unreachable places like velonnese out of bounds area oddly. Units do not move outside the map space.

Blizzard breath can target unplaced units but it seems to do nothing. Krystals exp does go up through interestingly if you include higher class unplcaced units...using teh exchange placement gltich of course.

NINJA PATH ING? What if I try and use teh ninja almost exclusively after I acquire it? For the first life I place ninja next to leader during search, kill him several times. Raise him, give him the extra gunpowders if he needs it and then sacrifice him for something that died (something that i make die) I could use harpies/chimeras and use teh remote placement glitch to place him AGAIN next to enemy leader. Then the enemy leader and his mages kill him that round or so. Place him on weak defense spots. Then use multhex mages on teh next round to finish of the hard leaders. Fro example on Velonnese I could use several mages like 5. What will happen is this.

Switching place does not work after raising him

Before the round

1.Give him all gun powders in camp. 2.Starts place teh ninja on plain/water area leader, not castle while in search.

During Round

  1. Switch teh ninja with a placed unit next to an enemy. To activate teh placement exchange gltich.
  2. Pull out the mages, use strnog mult hex magic , Wild Fire does 120 about to ninja, 2 or 3 or those should make him toast.
  3. Once he dies 100 damage will be dealt to enemy from gunpowder.
  4. Then attack again using the multihex attacking the ninja too,which kills him again *he will keep dying here", then that attack TOO will damage the enemy with the gunpowder. The third level cold spell is a multi hex and does little damage, with quick animation may be a good option.
  5. If the enemy has 600 or less health it is possible to kill the enemy just like that.
  6. But if you cannot get the other 5 hits in with the mages then you may need to extend it another round, or hit the leader with another unit that round like a wyvern.
  7. Or move the ninja to the enemy and attack with the ninja or a mage.
  8. Or ue Remote placement glitch to put ninja or anther unit next to enemy leader to cause some damage next to leader.
  9. If the enemy has Above 600 health then some ingenuity is necessary.
  10. Main steps above will work, but the problem is that the leader loves megarestre if they are around 50% or lower. So attacking with less that all 6 is best. For say the last velonnese what would work probably is to take him down to 500.
  11. Then ressurrect him,

Neutral hobbit mage is the worst unit as far as health and defense goes. Good for fodder.

TRY THIS FRO FASTER NINJA GUNPOWDER KILLING.

    1. Place TWO guys one space away from the Enemy Leader.
    1. One the ninja and teh other a normal unit.
  1. Kill the ninja a couple times to damage velonnese.
  2. Raise him up.Swapsoul (aka hell Reverse)
  3. Excahnge his place with the other unit next to the Enemy Leader while the ninja is still alive. Does not work
  4. Sacrifice teh ninja to prevent the gunopwder from going off.
  5. His place SHOULD be the same place as the other unit. This may be a huge time saver.

If the above works we can give him more gunpowder and then have him be right back near velonnese for more killing AHAHA. What I could do is get a spot in there with a fairly tough unit, but have a weak unit near it, like a harpy/siren. The chimera might work. Then with teh remote placemnet for the ninja you should be able to wait an extra turn and bust teh other unit in. Just have the stronger unit as a place holder.

I wonder if it is possible with the injection glitch to kill your own leader, then RAISE it with a priest with the necessary skill? I wonde if the round still ends, or not. For TAS I think, beyond my mashing skill.

STACK YOUR UNIT ON ENEMY UNIT STACKING GLTICH If I place a unit on top of an enemy unit, with the glitch, where if aunit is on a HIRE spot near your leader and on a castle, and they die on a counterattack and you mash buttons to get the hire menu up, and then the ENEMY LEVELS, the cursor will be on the enemy , and you can hire/summon/place a unit on them.

With this Stack Your guy on enemy, if you stack two units, one of them being a mage, then cast an attack mu.tihex magic, after exchanging their places in the list menu (placement exchange gltich) will the damage go into thousands and hit your unit? Or would it hit ENEMY unit? Acutally if that works , it could be used for ARLIMAN, since he DIES on one form so the cursor would natutally go to him again. Then place a guy on him.

For jewel of light, CANNOT skip quest fully, since you cannot just "enter" the temple it seems. Althought i should definitely checck, but there is no "enter" option for it.

If you use the lawful priest stacked with a monster

In the instances below where there is nowhere for the but castle left there is no reason to place guards to where they would take over. Becuase dead poeple cannot take over shit. Less time to guard stuff if I am up against this scenario.

hmm Hasai Bow is much better than the wind shot at two spaces on velonnese (neurtal dragon rider) hacked bow in. To hack it in you need to SAVE when the DR is in its ORIGINALLY created alignment otherwise it corrupts and becomes worthless (0 attack,0 health, 0 defense) . Then after loading put the Neutral value 0x0100 in for teh bow to work with damage values . I think robin's dragon riders can use bows right? Wind shot =185, Hasai bow = 190. Elf Bow = 192

AHH Save /Load removes the Ninja Guantlet + Attack!

Lance is super effective against Neutral and Chaotic warirors. Did 690 damage compared to 441 on a enemy warlord. Fairly decisivly better. Wy it is SO much better I do not know.

Godslayer STILL does not work against velonnese even with teh lawful dragon rider ahha.. maybe agaisnt form 2? nop. Still about 180 damage, when higher damage weapns do more..

Velonesse the lvl pwr staff seems the best. Although admittedly it seems like by a small amount. The strange defense is hard to break through. 10 damage only seemsto equal 3-4 extra damage.

0x3a is teh pwr lvl stf 0xbf is gunpowder 0x46 is the sword armor

Powr level staff (at class level 4 80 damage) = 212 damage Pike = 205 partison = 208 Trident =

Velonnese rule of thumb Attack /3 = damage. So to do 200 damage you need around 600 attack.

in gods castle you cannot place units outside the bounds using teh remote placement gltich where it goes to placement 0,0. The outside area is a "noplacement" zone. Like the mountain ranges in velonnese levels. I hacked the posistion in with the ram value and this happens.

The jewel of light is to the exact time of day 10 days ahead to fight Arliman.

With Arliman;s second form I found no way to interrupt the second one from appearing. In the Ram field the moment you attack, it gets calculated and placed immidiately.

Weird in arlimans fight you have the option to place units in out of range places like into a wall, but when you go to slect the actual unit and place it, it does not work. So only the selection to place pops up,too bad. That would have been strange.

more fucking with arliman you can place a guy and it will be active but only placement exchange glitch will not work he becomes inactive once you exit the menu for switching teh guys placements.

Glitch Also if Krystal dies it looks like you have the option to place the same unit even on that is on the map? But since it is game over after doing this does not seem helpful...


I want to check two things

  1. if i place a unit on velonesse palce does it affect anything?
  2. I fi place units on places that are teh enemy generators does THAT change anything
  3. I have have two units with the armor of retribution. Get one confused, and they attack each other what happens?

the stragne gltich with the mage where it damages itself for thousands of health if you use the placement exchange gltich is interesting. It does several thousand damage to self, and it takes a long time for the unit to die. Echange teh multi hex magic users place with a unit that will get hit with a magic like Icicle storm, then cast on enmy next to it. If there was a way to mismatch the unit that apears on teh map with its actual placement to be on an enemy thenit would hit the enemy. It seems to hit the unit "on top" and it seems like the firendly units are always on top. I can see it working if i modify the placement with ram hacking.

See if ram hack arliman position to change and see if he can kill himself with meltearth or something. no

Also see if sacrificing a goat on arliman would work.

See if it is possible to paralze or some other status on a non placed unit. May need to use lpaement exchange gltich. It looks like the same address in ram holds the status for ready,paralyzed, goat, search, and dead. So by changing teh status you change whether they are dead or not. And the may appear on teh map. Need to test. COULD NOT GET ANYTHING

SO IT SEEMS LIKE IF YOU FORCIBLY SET A UNIT'S HEALTH TO 0 THEN IT DES THAT INSANE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE. Setting karmak's health to 0 in map does that massive damage.

SWORD ARMOR AND EXCHANGE PLACEMENT GLTICH (Arliman only?)

I had a dragon rider and an human neutral archer both have the sword armor equipped. The archer is dead. I exchange the placement of the two units and then when Arliman attacks it hits the archer AND THEN COUNTERS AND DAMAGES ARLIMAN!

What other units are really weak against arliman? Get the griffin rider and i think arliman does liek 600 damage.

If I directly attack arliman during my turn it DOES NOT work.

Need to see if this gltich is more general. Does not seem to.

Oe first phse arliman the other spells do not seem to have this property. It is almost like the holy arrow is along range physical attack or something.

On second phase arliman

  1. Have a unit with sword armor on or off the map.
  2. Switch with placement exchange glitch
  3. Get attacked by Arliman and if he uses Holy Arrow or Physical attack it will repel.
  4. Why? think the 2nd phase Arliman is an ARCHER!

Are archers' damage reflectable by the Sword Armor?

Map Over Placement Glitch

When round ends if you can select teh placment selection fast enough you can place a unit. On the next map you go to the unit is on THAT spot active and ready to go. This also works after trying to retreat.

THIS WORKS WHEN YOU CHANGE THE STATUS OF A UNIT AFTER THE ROUND OVER. I know that "just placed" and REST work. Although the non placed status might not work.

Try these

  1. See if you can use the remote placement gltich with this
  2. Seeif you can maybe use a wizard that kills the ninja, the ninja kills the enemy leader, the spell maybe firestorm or ice storm also kill a unit next to the leader (mash action button to get the placement menu to appear, and then also kills a unit in the distance to make the placement menu appear. This may not work due to how strict the round over timing is though, but work a shot since teh game normally allows the round to only end after a spell is complete.
  3. Or try Susan and manitcores/chimeras?
  4. See if you can maybe use teh unit stacking gltich to make the cursor go to another unit that only has the "placement" area on top of them.
  5. See if merely mashing button will select the next unit to MOVE, and if you can place it then it might be active the next turn, no. BUT SELECTING REST WORKS.
  6. Try selecting next unit and attacking.
  7. Try attacking and getting paralyzed, that might do some unusual behavior, if a unit is in teh camp but has a status effect.
  8. Would be cool to find other "round over" spots maybe try and find the value for that and watch it.ANS: DEATH ON EITHER LEADER, and THEN RETREAT
  9. It might be possible to get the Godslayer sword from the volcano with this. No, it still says it is too hot to go inside.

so it is possible to select another unit after killing a unit. Although it does not get "placed" for teh next round even if you move it. It also is REALLY hard to press teh button fast enough. In fact I THINK i got it but maybe not.

Also interestingly enough if you delete an ACTIVE unit, then the cursor will continue to act almost like the unit still exists there. Iwonder if that continues between maps? Or if that could be exploited for the remote placement glitch. In some way.

TRY THIS

  1. First put a shitty unit next leader that is ACTIVE ANDNEXT IN THE LISTthen DELETE IT
  2. Hire/Summon another unit to fill the list so only "placement would appear
  3. TRY TO JUST HIT THE ENEMY LEADER TO KILL
  4. Then mash the button and the cursor SHOULD go to that same spot next to your leader
  5. Mash to get the placement menu active and then you should be able to put a unit there active on the next MAP . At worse this is a good way to cut off a whole turn to get a unit moving.

Interestingly it seems the enemies on the map have ids that ARE AFTER your friendly units.

The sandclockof dreams will go away after save/load lol/ Cannot use another item on krystal and then have it contiune that affects krystal. BUT...

Wonder if items like the clood candle and the atehena orb would make a difference for length of duration for the sandclock of dreams? Well probably not since I forced krystal to use two in one turn but it did not extend. It probably just adjusts some flag somewhere.

Wonder if Would teh blod candle and teh athena orb affect the time needed for arliman to ressurect?

THERE IS ANOTHER SECTION TO INPUT INJECTION! THAT IS WHILE TEH CURSOR IS MOVING WHEN YOU ATTACK OR MAYBE EVEN "TRANSFER"! If I CAN transfer TWICE what happens? It just transfers twice But with the atttack the timing lookns severe.

Looks like this does not work for teh leader. The leader seems to be placed at start of round.

Also I wonder if you could somehow buffer a cancel? Even though you attack? During this. Does not look like it

Even if you get the Seal of Demons early somehow the game will not progress. On the map with Sheena on the bottom with the shrine, it ONLY will say you have to defeat the 4 demons AND get teh Seal of Demons.

SURUSHI (castle on left side on water level) IS NEAR LAST VELONNESE's CASTLE ABYSS at 1a11! Give Susan a haste potion and the h20 water spider and then Map End Placement gltich while retreating make her rest after retreating, or use remote placement for it.

I Wonder if you put the seal of demons into the camp inventory if it skips? I wonder what really is teh trigger to move onto velonnese? Is it REALLY killing all the demons or does it check for something more subtle?

Test to see if a confused enemy or firendly unit can kill teh final karmak.nope tried various confuse status on own and enmy units to no avail. Tried a lot of spells too. Weird thing with the confse is that he attacks always miss, same with magic when he has 1 hp.


OK try combining the NINJA GUNPOWDER glitch where he is off screen and kills teh boss with remote placement. That should make things MUCH faster. And be more natural with the path. On velonnese 1 you can quickly waste time by ending round at start. Then retreat, then use the ninja/remote placement gltich with the ninja bomb killing the warlord and place the dragon rider next to velonesse. Send a harpy off to the wizard on the left side that should allow the ninja to start dealing extra damage

Kind of strange with the sorcerors how their status effects have a much higher chance of working at higher levels.

Anoterh odd thing with the enemies is that sometimes their placement is influenced by what units you have summoned, even if they are not even immidiately in range. For example on Velonnese 3 if I use teh Dr, Ninja, the 4 harpies then a group of enemies take the high path. If I place 3 more priests though they take the low path.

With teh placement glitch it may be faster just to place the ninja and then have him attack and die. And then use Amon/krystal to use a placement glitch for the next round.

Ending turn during spell that kills enemy leader with ninja gunpowder then after save load use remote placement.

This is by far the most complicated setup I have done thus far.

First I put the ninja out on search when he has a couple gunpowders on him. For the enemy warlord he needs 2, when each deals 100 flat damage. place the ninja where the next area's warlord will be, only position off.

In the actual round, we need to exchange the ninja with a unit so that we can damage him, and "kill him" once. Now the warlord only has 100 health. For the next part he should be placement exchanged with a unit that will get hit first with the next multi hex spell. With spells the first units to get hit are the ones starting from the top right position and moving in a clockwise direction ending in the top left position.

Now I get an enemy next to Krystal so that she can use Hellfire and kill a lot of units to give us more time to use the input injection. Cast Hellfire, it will go off and kill the ninja AGAIN dealing another 100 damage to the warlord, and killing him. Unfortunately with how the gunpowder works we cannot use remote placement to place a guy where we want. The gunpowder always goes off LAST, so the cursor will not go to a friendly unit at the final destination but instead to the enemy leader. So while the Hellfire is going off use the input injection to go to the FILE and save and load.

After loading the game is in an odd state where almost any action will end the round in your victory. However we want to end have the round end flag, and set a guy after that. To do this will can do the remote placement glitch, but here our guys needs to be in the right spot. Use the Placement Exchange on a guy to die that is on a placement spot next to our leader. The next guy to get hit with a spell needs to hit after. Further the guy that you exchange it with MUST die In this spot I use Ice Storm to kill the chimeras. Fire Storm is good for Sirens/Harpies.

After Using Ice Storm I use the input injection to get the "placement" menu to pop up, and then the cursor will go the remote unit and I can then place a unit there. Here I believe you need to actually press the button to get it in when the cursor over the remote dead unit.

If done correctly, the unit will NOT appear on this map even though you placed it and the round will end. If you see it appear, then you probably buffed some other action by pressing too much, then it will not work right. The placement seems to need to be the final action done. This is map end placement glitch, where you essentially "place" a unit even after the round is over.

So the round will end and you can go back to camp. DO NOT search with the unit or his status will change and he will not be placed on the next map.

Go to the next map and the unit should be active on the map on same position he was placed in the previous map.

Remote placement

THIS DOES WORK WITH INACTIVE UNITS

1_ switch a unit that will die in the list with Multhex attack

If you delete a unit after placing it. Then an enemy goes onto it. Can I essentially NOT harm it with multihex spells? So i would not have to worry about killing it.

Ok for aqua, once i get susan I can use that to place guys pretty freely. Make sure to have her on teh bottom left spot so she attaks the enemy leader. Aqua will confuse her, she kills aquas while confused. Then I get a turn to perform a placement gltich before the round fully ends. I wonder how many other rounds there are that enemies will use confuse that i ccould use this on??

Interesting! This one berserker has a BALM as an item and uses it one the first turn you use Amon's Vicious Cutter on him. The game does not actually show the berserker using the item either. See the 0x65 at 0x010f3e?

Here is another glitch. If you have not enough money for a unit to actually move, and they are confused they do NOTHING instead of attacking! Ahaha.

It would be funny if I could Kill a Leader with a area spell, and then revive them. I wonder if the round would continue? Would I then be able to Place such a unit?

OK try this. Elven beast rider, but then give them elf shoes. THEN transfter the h20 water spider to them to change their movement to ground. Then I wonder if they will be able to move really good now with extra movement?

Have an idea with Krystal. Try to use the interrupt glitch with Vortexes and Mages. She might be able to "Push" The wyvern all the way to the boss in conjunction with the switch placement position glitch.

OH FUCK. THIS MIGHT BE THE GLITCH . BLIZZARD BREATH STATUS CHANGE GLITCH SO if you use the placement gltich and switch the party member places. THEN USE the blizard breath it will change the members that are NOT DEAD to FROZEN. AFTER REFRESHING TEH SCREEN, THIS DISPLAYS THEM ON THE MAP!!!!

So you can search with a ninja on a specific point on the map. Advance, use teh placement excahnge gltich to change his status to frozen. Go to the Party screen, exit, then he will be ON THE MAP but frozen! Then you could use megarestore to then make him a usable movable character. THE FUCK that is crazy!!

Lots of strange behavior with this. If you place it, then it gets "under" another unit where you cannot select it, using VORTEX will make the unit available again. Probably other multi hex moves will make them available.

When it shows that it was successful and they are frozen bizarrely enough the enemies can interact with the unit now. They can attack and kill it..

Maybe send a priest along with them? One that knows regen.

I think I have vastly underestimated Blizzard Breath. If you use it multiple times on the same enemies then it PERMANETLY freezes them. Unless the enemy uses Megarestore they will REMAIN like that. Maybe an enemy priest could remove it but other than that they are stuck. Also the frozen status is like STONE, where you can just move through the enemy. The perma freeze effect can also happen to your own units. What a Seriously deadly technique.

When you move a unit that was Guarding sometimes there are some unusual spots that they appear. The bottom map bordering velonnese is literraly right on the border.

Blizzard breath is REALLY odd. Apparently its success rate is extremely linked to how many fighters are atacking. Each time you attack iwth more units on a new turn the more units you can get Frozen. Seems to peak around 6-7 attacks or magic attacks ( mage spells) then it becomes more random. Priest's Treat does not advance that hit/miss.

When you have a frozen a guy and they are technically on teh map on teh last spot they were placed. GUARDING seems to have their position too interestingly. It seems the only way to prevent them from having the enemy leader "place" a unit on top of them is to save/load. The other way is to then use amegarestore on them the next turn.

Also JESUS, the frozen status does not seem to GO AWAY. That is much different from what i was originally thinking. Odd. Thought the units would "thaw" but they do not seem to. Hellfire does not thaw them.

So for the future what might be cool to do is to give the ninja the silver axe and gunpowders and maybe sword armor. Becuase of the placement glitch and the gltich with the gunpowder being able to damage units even when you are not on the map this is what could work very well. We can place two units, one will be the "extra gunpowder unit" for maps where enemy leader has large amounts of health. Can use two priests that can learn the "revival" spells. Krystal has her own revival spell. So can use mages to attack with multi hex spells to kill the ninja, and then the priests to revive him, and loop that. That would be great for the last 300 or so health of Velonnese. So freeze the ninja, getting him near the leader, save/load, megarestore, keep him alive until the enemy leader is pretty dead

The only maps where this would not work would be the first velonnese since the first half has no enemies. That would need the placement glitch where you win and place and retreat and place.

A more realistic approach might be to use this in addition to some of teh existing routes. Place multiple units along side, and have a priest there to use Regen which would hopefully get rid of the frozen. Also this approach seems long! Lots of turns needed.

Early on in the game it would probably be great too though, since you could place mages around the enemy leader and then use fire storm or cataclysim and kill them in two or three turns.


I wonder if those athena orbs and blood candles are specifically for making the days go faster? To break Arliman's seal...

Does teh h2O water spider actually help the ninja move across wasteland? Can it help for other units on differnet terrain?

I forget can you use a low level spell/item to increase the time period something is active for, and then overwrite the effect with a different spell/item but keep the duration but keep the second effect? Some of those late game items seem great but have limited duration. Liek MAG STN , for the extended magic range. Or the item that nullifies magic?

healiong ring and Amon's Health Drain? I thought the Healing ring only gave you 5 hp every turn?

So test if Retribution is good damage a unit that is switched when an ARCHER attacks. This could be used to "kill" the ninja more often with the gunpowder.

So test to see if you can switch the ninja's placement after it is "frozen" so another unit could potentially taken damage.
