Pathing because im rusty. Pratice it and tell me if its better than the normal route.

black screen buffering(BSCB)

When the in game
Time show 4.93 is when i used BSCB. 
Skip to 1 minute 2 seconds to see the BSCB.
How to do: when you see your character but the black screen isn’t fully gone thats where you want to do your inputs, might work even sooner. It is preferable to use the dagger since its faster.
Pros: Allow for faster completions, consistent with pratice, decent visual cue.
Cons: Timing is hard but learnable, Must start with the dagger to avoid losing time in some levels. Doesn’t work in 1-1. 
Discovery: idk if anyone used this before but i found it out by accident in my last WR run attempt (which probably helped the next one achieve a sub 5.)

Optimized 1-7 (with comparison)

Requirement: decent reflexes, precise wall jumps. 
Pros: It is very consistent as shown in this video, it is double the speed of the classic route.
Cons: The curve in the wall can mess you up if you don’t know the timing, thus forcing you to learn it.
Explanation: this trick isnt as hard as it sound, i start the video by showcasing the classic route and then comparing it to the new one, i also showcase how consistent it is.
How to do it: follow the inputs in the video as you can see them clearly(hopefully)

Spike Jump Route (1-2)

Requirements: Easy mode
Pros: a sub-optimal spike jump save 2-ish second compared to the old route, an optimal/perfect one would save around 3+ seconds if not more. 
Cons: first wall jump require good timing, but nothing actually difficult.
Q: Why do you claim it save so many seconds?
A: because you have to consider the fact i had to switch between screens constantly to stop my timer. Meaning the time saved was bigger than shown ^_^
