Hello everyone. I've played cookie clicker for a bit more than a year at this point, but i have never speedran (speedrunned? spedran? Idk) it before, because from what I have understood most runs are heavily luck-based as they rely on golden cookie RNG. The outcome of a golden cookie is determined by the seed to prevent savescumming, which means it is possible to predetermine the pattern of golden cookie effects you will get during the run. I think allowing a set seed in runs or adding a category which does would promote strategy over luck and therefore make runs way more interesting. What do you think?
I like the idea. But allowing changing anything in the dev menu needs a lot of regulation. It's probably easier if you pitch the idea on the discord, if you can
I love this idea but I feel like not many would like this idea just because of it involving changing stuff in the dev menu.
