Question: Are diamond allowed in Speedruns? Answer: All categories apart from "100%" and "any% Glitchless" diamonds are banned. Any runs seen using diamonds will be rejected.
100% and any% Glitchless have a diamond cap where in the players diamonds must never be added to via the use of money. And must never go bellow -150 retaliative to the amount of diamonds that the player had before the run began. Any diamonds collected during the run are valid for use as well as diamonds collected via the use of Tickets in Android Free Mode. However if the player started a run with 500 diamonds, then it is expected for the run to remain valid that that number never go bellow 350 or the run will be rejected. As 350 is 150 less then 500.
Due to confusion about the use of In Game Time vs Real Time both are being disabled for simple time which will just be the length of the run from start to finish in real time according to the start and end points of said runs rules.
