Ghost sharing

Be careful when downloading files; mine are safe, but look in archive before unarchiving and confirm there are only .sav files.


Filepath for ghosts: C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\BoomShocketa\Saved\SaveGames

Once there, you will find a series of .sav files.  The following is the name convention for ghost save files:

gst_00_000_00_username.sav

The first number refers to the gamemode, all time attacks are game mode 04.

The second number refers to level:
000 - Grand Canyon
010 - Snowy Mountain
020 - Arothe
030 - Moon

The third number refers to difficulty, and challenge difficulty, where
0 = plebeian, 1 = easy, 2 = casual, 3 = daunting, 4 = brutal, 5 = expert, 6 = master, and 7 = fiendish.  So, if the final two digits = 03, it is a plebeian course with the challenge applied.

Example: gst_04_010_22_Stan.sav is Stan's time trial ghost on Snowy Mountains for the casual course with no challenge.

If you downloaded someone else's ghosts and put them into the file where ghosts are, you need to add a new user (for now) with the exact name as it appears in the ghost filename.

How to record

It's suggested that you aren't running recording software for now while doing actual runs as it will probably have a major effect on frame rate.

Instead, after you've finished a run, use the watch ghost feature and record that instead.

If needed, you can go to the video options, enter windowed mode, and use a lower resolution to record effectively.
