Level 1-1 High-Rise Hijinks in 00:00:44:590
After a great number of sub-45 runs on this level, I was finally able to run it fast enough to break TheSpeedOfPhi's 4 month old world record. I believe the difference with the former world record is made directly at the start of the level. The previous WR chose to jump between platforms while I went directly for the one on the right.
There are three obvious points in my run which are not as optimal as I wanted. On two instances my walking was a bit sloppy. Last, the bridge glitch can be done with double effect. Like other uploads on this leaderboard I got pushed forward one platform by the bridge on this attempt. However on previous attempts I had multiple instances where the bridge pushed me forward two platforms, saving additional times. Unfortunately I messed up those runs in other parts, resulting in slower endtimes than this run.
The combination of playing less sloppy and performing the double bridge glitch should, in my opinion, make a sub-44 record run possible.
Mod Edit: Congratulations! I also looked in to the one platform jump.
