Speedrunners!

Obviously speedrun ARK is tough. Mainly because it takes a long time. It is not always possible to complete the game in one run - you want to sleep, eat, etc. We have a wonderful opportunity to quit the game for a while, stop the recording and pause the timer.

But! In the singleplayer we have save files. Who knows which save file will be used multiple times until a positive result is obtained? For example, according to the rules, I can save the game and load it once before going to the cave. But who can check if there was only one download? For example, I load game and failed in cave - my rex died and I lost all my loot. I load again and record again. And also I restart the timer in LiveSplit but from the same time at which I stopped.

Your suggestions, survivors. May be after saving game you will need to show file: data of creation. And before loading - show same file? But ...

an option would be to use servers hosted/moderated by speedrunners, the savefiles would be on the server, you could lower the max player to 1 (2, 3, 4 if a team attempts the run)

I'm not that interested in doing regular settings runs, but if i were to do it I would show game user settings ini and game ini then scroll through settings like normal then load in and resume. i don't know if there are any flaws in that method though

Due to the fact that the community has changed the perception of the game, I don't like the official servers (may be i have no a team). I don't want to play with ini files, cheaters, meshers and teamers. For example, starting with gamma (although there is a night vision device) at night in fog, ending with ini files. I understand the mistake the developers made. But they won't fix anything.

In current speedruns, I want to be as close as possible to default game play. I allow mesh, use game bugs, dupes, because it's Any%. But this only applies to runs at speedrun.com.

I don't know how to add this run here. Because I must write the rules. They are different. Current rules even not complete yet.

what do you need/want? i dont know how to work with sony vegas, but i can work with premiere. i could cut it for you

I already learn how to edit video/audio but i failed all my tries to render video. Completed video files have a lot of glitches ...

Now i think how to add new mode run there.
