How to turn ON/OFF 60 FPS lock.

If you don't know how to change this settings exist 2 ways. Simple and slightly more complex.
Simple: go to game root folder and open file AlienShooter.cfg with notepad or other text redactor. https://prnt.sc/WAKOP6dvX5Wl
In there you need option VSync https://prnt.sc/mANoSDBqRfbm . Type 1- VSync is ON, type 0 - VSync is off. This way is work if your monitor have 60Hz refresh rate. 

If your monitor refresh rate higher then 60Hz.
Open NVIDIA control panel
Click on Manage 3D Settings
Click on Program Settings
Select AlienShooter in the dropdown menu. If you can’t find it, click on Add and find AlienShooter.exe.

This option is working and fps really locked on 60fps and game physics does not break. But may appear screen tearing.

On AMD GPUs you also can did same FPS lock.
Go to Radeon Settings then Games. Find AlienShooter.exe and set max FPS for game. 
I don't know exactly how to set it up on GPUs from AMD because i have NVIDIA but i think it's about the same. 

If you know/find another working way for lock FPS tell me, and i add it in giude.

Running AS2 on AMD hardware Win10

To run AS2 on AMD GPUs follow these steps:

1) Turn off fullscreen optimisations - Go to AlienShooter.exe and go to Properties, then Compatibility and tick "Disable fullscreen optimisations". If you don't do this, the game freezes on startup unless you tab in and out of game and after the intro credits, the game crashes.

2) DO NOT RUN AS2 IN COMPATIBILITY MODE - If you do, AS2 will either start with no sound, or crash.

Window/Fullscreen mode.

For check in what mode your game run (sometimes she can run on window mode by default) go to "Documents - AlienShooter2 Reloaded Saves - Saves" and open "_global.dat" with some text redactor. Here you need "iFullScreen=1" https://prnt.sc/qFsWUlD8KQnx where 1 mean- fullscreen, 0- is a window mode. 
What if game run in a window mode? Ofcourse it's more comfortable to play especially you have 1 monitor. BUT, loading between levels will take much more time, and due to the fact that game did't have autosplitter that cannot be use for the runs.
