Authorized or prohibited Glitch in glitchless runs

It could be great if we had a clear view of authorized (or prohibited) glitches in glitchless runs. I saw some runs with some actions I would consider as glitch but the frontier is not clearly defined. For example, double jumps in the last level or the jump over the barrier at the start of the game.

In my opinion a glitch like the double jump may not be considered a glitch because we can do it even by accident. But glitches like the jump over the barrier at the start of the game may be consider as a glitch because clearly it's not what the game expected us to do (and it's pretty hard to do).

I don't know all the glitches possible in the game so I'm not suggesting a list of authorized/prohibited glitches but maybe at least a list of prohibited glitches must be provided.

The baby skip (leaving and rejoining the game to avoid the construction phase of the baot) is the only think that has really been defined as a glith for now. However I agree that it would be nice to talk about the double jump over the fence and the double tap during the caroussel as I would agree to consider them glitches.

Glitches which were found up until this day:

  • The Baby Skip - skipping the rewarding trophies building into your boat with recreating the lab y and continuing from the same percentage. Was named by the 2 founder speedruners.
  • The fence skip - skipping the fence opening co-op part in the first part of the game by simply jumping over it using invisible hitboxes.
  • The double lever push - shortening the intended way of completing an Any% Glitchless category run in which you should activate the wrong lever in the second part of the game by clicking on the previous lever twice so the game registers your second click as the second lever pull. Firstly was accidentally used in an Any% Glitchless run by us, but then got considered as a glitch.
