How to get Livesplit Autosplitter for Any% and Herb% (+ other stuff too!)
更新时间 nicooftheforest
由 Note that these currently do not work on v0.1.7.
Getting The Files
- First of all, we need to download the files.
- Github link: https://github.com/dreary-dugong/tethergeist_utils/tree/main
- Click on the 'Code' drop-down menu and press 'Download ZIP'.
- Open File Explorer, right click on 'tethergeist_utils-main.zip and click 'Extract All' > 'Extract'
- Now a folder should pop up, go through the folder to see the contents.
Enabling Autosplitter
- Now that we have our files, we can get our tools.
- Open Livesplit, and right click 'Open Splits' > 'From File', now select the '.lss' file in the 'splits' folder for either Any% or Herb%.
- Click 'open layout' > 'from file', now select the corresponding '.lsl' file in the 'livesplit layouts' folder
- Click 'Edit Layout...' > double click 'Scriptable Auto Splitter' > 'Browse', select corresponding '.asl' script from the 'autosplitters' folder.
- Now we have our autosplitter!
Getting and Using Practice Save Files
- These saves are for every specific room of the chapter.
- Go to 'This PC', > 'Local Disk []' > 'Users' > '[your user]' > 'AppData' > 'Local' > 'TG_Dev'
- Paste the specific save that you want to use, delete the previous 'tgsave' and rename your new one to 'tgsave' so that the game recognizes it.
- Now you can do this every time when you feel like practicing a specific part!
Notes
- .txt files such as 'c1p1r1' mean 'chapter1part1room1' as in; c = chapter, p = part, r = room. 'part' refers to significant changes in the level, such as the night section in chapter one. Stuff like 'Hub' and 'Night' are pretty self-explanatory.
- Controls will change when using the preset practice save files since it's tied to the save file.
