How To Downpatch

This guide is how to downpatch for the GLITCHED category

1. While logged into Steam on an account that owns Mullet Mad Jack, CTRL + R and input *steam://open/console*
2. With the Steam Console open, input *download_depot 2111190 2111191 3873885348501157188*
3. Keep the Steam Console open as it downloads, it will lose connection if you switch tabs in the Steam App. It will notify you when it's done downloading (the download size is 3166 MB) **As long as it says "depot download complete" ignore any errors**
4. Find and cut/copy the newly downloaded folder on your PC titled *"depot_2111191"*
5. Right-click MMJ in your Steam library > Manage > Browse Local Files > **SAVE A COPY of "MMJ" folder to BACKUP SAVES** > Replace *"MMJ"* with *"depot_2111191"* and then **RENAME it back to MMJ**
6. Launch the game from the .exe in that folder, launching the game from Steam will force an auto-update. Follow step 5 to find the .exe

Speedrun Strategies & Skip Tips

**FASTEST MOVEMENT** - Rhythm Strafe Dashing, W + D or A and position camera on an angle, dashing in a rhythm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOgo-CAmq8E

**DEATH WARP** *GLITCHED CATEGORY ONLY (REQUIRES DOWNPATCH)* - If you die in the first room of a chapter (tutorial/upgrade reset floors) when you respawn and finish that room you have now skipped a room. Dashing in the acid/lava speeds it up. Example: Chapter 1 starts at floor 01, you die and finish, the next room is now 03 instead of 02 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bo2F_1yVSM

The **SHOTGUN** and both **KATANAS** are considered the best weapons to use

**WORKING ELEVATOR** Upgrade (Skips a floor)

Bouncing off an enemies head gives you a speed boost

Dashing over a ledge lets you dash again (Initial dash should be very short)

**BULLDOZER** upgrade lets you dash across the air with speed

Throwing the **KATANA** cancels the swing animation

**CH1 BOSS ONE-SHOT** - With **Tier 1 Shotgun** use **First Shot**, **Kick & Shoot**, **Ninja Demon**, **Foe Piercing Chance 50%** (minimum build not confirmed) https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2202458026

**CH3 SNIPER SKIP** - You can **spawn Mr. Bullet faster** if you just **let the snipers kill you in the boss fight**. You want to shoot 2 enemies first so another 2 will spawn at the same time and those ones will kill you. (You die faster in harder difficulties)

**CH4 BOSS ONE-SHOT** - Collect **2 Boss Killer** upgrades during Chapter 4 and the boss can be one-shotted

**CH6 BOSS ONE-SHOT** - This boss is a group of enemies that spawn overlapped on each other on top of the soda machine when it's kicked. A well placed shot from a **fully charged Tier 3 Shotgun** works or **Tier 2 Katana**

**ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS** - Pick anything the first round (rng if you win or lose) Mr. Dopamine will always replicate your last move. If you draw, Mr. Dopamine's next move will be random like the first round
