One of the core mechanics in Delusional Office Speedrunning is preserving your momentum and speed. This allows you to continue to burst through doors at lightspeed to get a faster time. Being above 60 speed is necessary as you no longer need to kick a door multiple times and can just slide into it and smack it down.

The main way you can preserve your momentum and speed is by moving back and forth or around in a circle in a safe spot away from entities. This is crucial to gaining a fast time as without it, you'll have to build up all the speed you've lost.

When no safe spots are in sight, another way you can preserve your momentum and speed is by hiding in a locker and quickly exiting and moving around. Though you can move around inside of lockers, your speed will be lost and it is capped around 37-ish (if you are using a perk like runner). This is a lot harder to do on entities like vision.
