After all thats going on and the dust settles i want to get thoughts on allowing glitches in runs, i want to grow this little group and that means bringing more runners into the mix and as a effort of this i wanted to open up the game.

The game at least as we know it has little to no in the way of glitches/exploits that give advantage to the runner so it might cause little change but i still think the possibility makes it more attractive to possible runners and thus should be encouraged, if there turns out to be a large time difference between glitch and no glitch i will make them two separate categories.

Ultimately i wish to discuss this as a community and get your thoughts before i make any changes.

Well i never expected what was my first speedrun to blow up in so much drama arround it, to be honest if i hadn't delved into other games along with this one, thier communities more welcoming i would have been turned off speedrunning.

This wouldn't have been a problem if you had simply went through the verification process for the run in a timely manner, thus doing your job as a mod for the game but language and actions discredit yourself and the community both this one we are building here and speedrunning as a whole.

PS: If you wish to speak of hollow achievements then how is in your own words in another forum speedrunning a game that no one plays for the ego boost of a easy World Record. I play Dawn of War for the love of the games and my love of warhammer 40k (which DoW got me into) hence why all my runs thus far have been dawn of war related.

i dont just mean are you one of the runners on the speedrun stage but i mean are you going to the event and what are you looking forward to there?

I hate to ask for help again but ive tried contacting both mods for dawn of war (the first one this time) to get my runs verified but no success, i odd part is some of my runs were verified (25 days ago) and i assumed when the next day when i put up the rest of the runs they would be similar but 24 days have passed with no word. I dont necessarily want to be a Mod for the game when theres two others but i think at this point if i have to so things along i will but if you have better luck getting a hold of one of them and can get them to look at my runs then i would be more than happy with the result.

I became a Mod for the game and sorting some things out, i will be looking at your run soon, please understand tho that such a meaty run may take a bit to verify but i hope to come to my decision before monday. thanks for showing interest in the game and hope to further grow the community.

hello im a new runner that has been running the Dawn of War games , my run for dawn of war 2 is still waiting verification after 21 days, but the mod for that game dosent seem to be active as it seems to be a case that he became a mod to verify his run and basicly buggered off as his is the only other run of the game on the site and it is the only run tied to his account which was a few months ago and it says his last login was a month ago. so i basically just asking to get my run verified but i will mod for the game if thats the means of getting it done i also want to change any% glitchless to just any% the game dosent really have any glitches anyway but i hope the idea of possibly finding and using some will draw interest by other runners.

this got my game to work but i want to know if this being a fan patch will this invalidate any runs?

So after running Dawn of War 1 and 2 i decided to start this one but ive ran into a problem , im playing space marines for all strongholds but when i get my first wargear i cant select the teleporter

im playing on the original in disc realise , i figured patching the game should help but when i updated to patch 1.20 for some reason the game wont let me start a campaign.

Greetings im new to speedrunning itself but have watched alot of runs in the past and decided to take the plunge.

I started running Dawn of War 2 after i watched the only run on here cause im a fan of the game series and thought to myself i can totally take the time lower , after a couple of tries of mapping my route i did it (tho the run has yet to be approved) and had alot of fun so i decided to keep at it this time running Dawn of war 1 and looking at a few other games too.
