as i have said to both of you, i apologize for not verifying the run. in the past i have been regularly checking the jc2sr, but i had gotten rather busy over the last couple weeks and since runs rarely get submitted, it kind of fell out of my mind. kinda silly since SGDQ just happened.

i also dont go on twitch as much as i used to, otherwise i would have reviewed and verified the run much sooner. in the future, contacting me on steam would be the best thing to do.

either way, i am glad americanchoirboy is a mod, and im alittle surprised he wasnt one already.

@ROMaster2 i completely understand where youre coming from. ive spent alot of time admining and moderating forums myself, so i know how important rules/regulations are when it comes to communities, especially for something like speed running.

again, i dont want to just oust GrandTheftWalrus from his position because there could be 1000 different reasons he has gone afk. id much rather be added to the moderation staff for JC2 than replace him if that is possible.

alot of people told me to speak to Nord, who from what i believe oversees all of the Just Cause games in the franchise, so before anything id like to get incontact with him.

@ROMaster2 i messaged him on twitch today before posting here and have not heard back from him. I cannot send messages on here because i get the "Sorry, this isnt ready yet." message. as MarioManTAW stated, his youtube link is dead, his SRL profile is empty and his twitch profile has no past broadcasts. that is why i posted here.

i dont want to come across the wrong way as ive been contacted by GrandTheftWalrus before and dont want to forcibly remove him from his moderator position.

i apologize for not waiting the required 3 weeks, as i was not aware of the time restriction, but given the scenario and the amount of time, effort, and energy i have put into speed running JC2 over the last 2 years...i felt that 1 week has been more than enough time to go to, as you put it, my last resorts.

if i was able to contact GrandTheftWalrus, i would have and kept this matter private. if you really want me to wait before posting in this thread, then delete my posts and ill simply post the same thing again in 2 weeks if the problem persists.

the only moderator for Just Cause 2, http://www.speedrun.com/user/GrandTheftWalrus , has not been online in over 2 weeks, and I have now waited 6 days for my run to be verified. My previous world record ANY% run was verified almost instantly.

im not sure if this is the right place to post this or if im doing this properly, but im getting rather frustrated at this point.

if it really comes down to it, can i be a moderator for Just Cause 2? i dont know if verifying my own runs on here is against the rules, but i seem to be the only person who actively speed runs Just Cause 2, and have been the world record holder for ANY% for the past 6 months. I'm trying to build a community behind Just Cause 2 speed runs, so having my run verified is relatively vital to accomplishing this.
