I think 40 is best still, I voted that in the poll when you made it.

I think its best because 40-50 in mines is considerably harder than 40 is, and requires a lot more planning. I think 40 is short mines.

It also ties in with one of the early quests you get in your journal.

Yeah level 40 I preferred because thats when it changes to ice, and I feel that to be completely different from the first 40 levels.

I don't like level 50 mines I think 40 is better but it's each to their own opinion I guess. I like the sound of wife% or things for individual bundles, like bus% for completing the bundle that gets you the bus.

Also does the 50k earnings mean money you have then, or total money earned??

I've been learning portal for maybe 3 weeks now, and have got my time down to 1:25, but there are two strats that seem to be fairly helpful, that I don't really understand. The second I suppose I do understand, its just I cannot get it, and I feel as though I am missing something (neither of these tricks are in znernicus speedrun tutorial)

The first is the 2nd level in chapter 6, around 46:00 in znernicus run:

He seems to reportal, but whenever I try it, if I successfully get the reportal, I never seem to travel even close to that far (I barely even get to the gap, let alone get over it) Is there something else he does to launch himself further?

The second is the three gels strat, I have seen PerOculos doing it, and I like that he has his keyboard up to show what he is doing, but I still can't get it. I can set up the gel, and I can get myself in falling position, its just I then bang my head on the floor that is above me, I can never make it past this bridge sort of thing. I feel as though I am missing something there as well.

Is there a tutorial anywhere on standed crouch flying? I was under the impression you always had to crouch.

Yes yes just a bad joke and I've seen that run, and have been practising a few of the tricks. There is a trick however in chap 8, tesy chamber 11, although the one after 6. He does crouch fly then suddenly gains a lot of vertical momentum, how is that done?

At this point he seems to do something at the portal (looks like a quick-save quick-load like in portal 1) but whenever I try this it completely reloads the level and takes a long time
