I‘m planing to do a run on the PS5. Will this category ever be opened?

So, to be clear for a dummy like me: if you die the run is invalid?

Great run. You‘re lucky that the item in the mines and the tool‘s shop were so close. How did you know so fast where the burned down bakery was? And everytime my character dies due to the explosion at the bakery, the other character who was waiting in front of the mines entry is back at the villa…

Let's be honest: the trickiest part is the random map. I'm pretty sure there is some kind of a logical pattern that will help. For example that some areas or some locations are always next to each other or something. I think it's the most challenging and also most frustrating part speedrunning the game and getting totally lost sometimes. I'll screenshot the map for every run to see if there's a pattern...

Does anybody know if the glitch that everybody uses is also working on the PS5 version?

That'd be cool. I tried an easy speedrun newgame+ with the mask bearer ending yesterday and it took me roughly 1h35mins.

I was weirdly surprised that no single run tries to finish the whole story. I know you won‘t reach any top ranking but I‘d love to do a whole speedrun until the end of the story.

I definitely would - others did aswell when you check YouTube.

Hey would it be possible to add the Maiden demo to the game or a new category or is this not allowed? I saw demos of other games in here and since the Maiden demo has been speedrun by runners, why not include it here.

Is it possible to submit a PS4 speedrun directly from the console which was recorded without the Livesplit timer?
