So you would submit it under Retro 2P
Personally, I think there's more than enough categories. Unless 3+ people want to compete in a new category, I don't see the demand

If you're on Desktop/Fullscreen the Filters button should be visible just under the menu for 1-10, 1-20, 1-30 etc.
It's not technically more boards. Functionally it serves the same purpose but the way it is set up just now imo is more interesting as you can easily see how each character compares to each other. ie if the fastest Axel1 time is 2nd overall behind the fastest Shiva time, etc.
You might get a faster answer popping onto TheMightyBill or oDSFM's streams/discords and asking them directly as they will likely be the ones to approve or reject the run.
As someone who usually advocates for more boards, even I feel like we've reached our limit. I do think about it a lot in terms of the Survival leaderboards especially - it becomes a bit stale when everyone plays as Floyd/Shiva/Axel1 yknow, what if I want to challenge for the best Cherry specific time?
I think that's where filters come into play. In my opinion, I'd keep the boards as is, but we could add in a filter option for "Default Moveset", "All Alt Moveset" and "Combined Moveset". Then you can see easily who is the fastest overall using any moveset, but split it with a filter if you're interested in seeing who has the fastest using Default only.
That's what I would do.
Just one of many unnecessary changes that push people away. Causes nothing but grief.
