This rom has built in practice codes and savestates and can be used on n64 with everdrive https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KzLEvPh1yZ2q9yygnimzErERal88N1Ip3ygtXxSLhjI/edit
Because I live in a PAL country when I use my Japanese N64 on my PAL CRT the picture is black and white is there a way to change this?
I wondered if it was humanly possible to do this strat
edit 2: here's a video of me getting quite a bit more speed but at the wrong angle to do the gwk
What input display does Xiah use for his youtube videos / streams? Is it just a skin for nintendospy?
I remember a couple years back there was a 120 star ideal run but I can't find the video anymore, is there an archived version somewhere?
Thankyou, I've been getting a little better at it after I discovered that you have to wall jump on the first frame
I recently decided that I want to run 70 star, but I'm finding one trick at the start of the run (island hop) to be very difficult. Does anyone know if there is a tutorial for it somewhere because when I search for a tutorial it just comes up with videos of people doing it without explanation, or if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong could they explain? My closest attempt at island hop lmao:
Yea I've been doing offline recordings because my internet is crap xD but I don't like to use obs because after a while it says the encoding is overloaded and I'm not to sure how to fix that.
I can't live stream so when I do speed runs I just record on amarectv until I close off a run, but it keeps stopping the recording randomly and I'm scared that I'm gonna get on a good run and it will just stop before I finish again.
I speedrun the PAL version of Super Mario Bros and I would love to use savestates for practicing, so I asked my friend if the powerpack worked on the UK / PAL nes, he said no, so are there any other alternatives for pal?
So I started speed running Super Mario Bros again after just over 2 years and I just started to get good until today. I was watching a video by Kosmic and he recommended playing on a CRT, so I decided to try it out to see if it helped me improve, but I just found it weird with no input lag and it felt like I was just watching prerecorded video and pressing buttons along with it, and when I tried to go back to my normal TV the input lag felt horrible, so now it feels weird when I play on both TV's. Has anyone got and suggestions to help get used to playing on a CRT faster?
