Nice one! Check out https://livesplit.org/ for the timer most folks use. After installing and launching you can right click on it for lots of options like setting hotkeys for start/stop and stuff like that

Hi. Chat commands are expressly allowed in writing in the Game Rules. Mods are expressly forbidden in writing in the Game Rules. Those rules were around long before I was and I have no ownership over the Game Rules. The reason "printseeds" just started getting used is because it was just recently discovered.
I understand your point of view regarding hardcore, which I do have some control over. However, if we were to change the rules now to forbid chat commands in hardcore I also do not think it would be fair to retroactively invalidate runs that had been accepted under the previous rules.
There's no way we could accept modded runs, perhaps especially if it's unknown what mods are running, as they can fundamentally alter the entire game.
I do think that we should soon re-examine the hardcore rules for the future, perhaps when Mistlands comes out, which will hopefully be soon and bring with it a new branch on all the Valheim speedrun leaderboards.
Oh awesome! I'll take a look! We see it on our end. You may have to view your own profile and then click "pending actions" and then find "runs awaiting verification" and you should see it. It will take some time but we'll review it!
i am not trying it. i am currently leaning toward hardcore rules being changed to just a glitchless run with no deaths; so this would allow logouts and AI manip. But I haven't been playing valheim at all the last few weeks, soooo...

The rules have been revised to not allow deco/reco, but portals will remain allowed. In-game days is cool but not precise enough for speedrun submissions so real time must be used. Also segmented runs will not be allowed.
Thanks! Shortly after I was born my mom had my full star chart done and it indicated I'd be really lucky at finding trolls. Up to now I thought it just applied to my love life, so I'm really glad I was able to harness it in this manner to benefit all of vikingkind.
Hey! Created an account here to tell you I've completed some runs that are almost exactly as you described! I've uploaded only one (720p, 13.5ish hours), but I have another faster/cleaner run (HD, 12.5 hours) that's ready to go, but I have to wait until January to upload, lol.
