Nice, this is a known thing that zed found quite a long time ago, if you look through old forum posts for the megadrive version you can see it. Unfortunately it generally wont save time because you will have to wait for the bat patterns, unless you get a lucky bat that will boost you past the gauntlet.
This is not an emulator error. Pressing a diagonal will give a neutral input resulting in no movement. While holding down it is impossible to change directions before standing again.
You just shift dependence onto the lobber drop instead of the spreader. This game by nature is very random.
Seems interesting but to be honest the restarting in Easy% isn't that bad, once you gain more skill it becomes easier to consistently bring the orb all the way to Mutoid man. As far as gaining interest? This is already one of the most active communities of any SNES game around.

hey guys I noticed some speed differences in the 3 difficulties, here is a video demonstrating the differences in game speed
TL:DR - his normal PB is running almost 20% faster than his easy/hard runs.
Hi, first off I'd like to say that I don't run this game and don't really intend to, but seeing this made me do some digging myself and it seems only the Normal Difficulty run has been speed up. The animations are clearly faster, and the autoscroller itself is much faster then normal. I put together a video comparing the runner's 3 submissions (easy,normal,hard) and it's clear that the normal run has been (intentionally or not) speed up significantly.
I am in no way accusing this person of cheating or doing this knowingly, but clearly this run is running too fast
The following video is not lined up perfectly, and there are some differences in the runs ( a death in one ) but the normal run is so much faster that it doesnt need to be lined up to see how much faster it is being run.
This might explain why the normal time posted is so much faster then the other runs in that category
In the pro mode for PAL version there is magic and health upgrades?! That doesn't seem correct.
Hello, I have a few submitted runs for games that have low mod activity.
- Super Adventure Island - inactive 5 months
- Space Megaforce - inactive 2 months
Both mods are slightly inactive, I was hoping I could pick up mod duties for these games to verify my runs and any others that submit, Thanks!
I would agree with Any% (No Gambling). Low% implies no items or power-ups to me instead of just the no gambling mini-game restriction.
