i took a quick peek at a run so sorry if i misunderstood how the game works. but to me the game just looked like you walk and dodge (i guess that is basically the name) so the only skill and what separates runners is your lines.
and the parts i saw in the video where you werent just doing that you were basically always essentially waiting. waiting for an obstacle to move out of your way or waiting for an autoscroller to finish. both do need skill sure but there is little to no difference in speed/time between runners, they all have to wait the same amount of time.
now, i dont now how you could change things to make it "better" because i feel like changing these things makes it a different game. to my eyes this game looks like a cool "The World's Hardest Game" type dodging game but not necessarily a game where i'd try to go fast. it'd be a game i beat once, feel good about beating the challenge and then be done with it.
but this is just MY opinion and how i saw it from skimming through that wr video so again, i might have misunderstood aspects of it.

create a level on the ILs and name it after the world, then make categories for the levels.
World A ("level")
- 1 (category)
- 2 (category)
- 3 (category)
- 4 (category)
how i think of it is:
any% for beating the game BUT only IF you can 100% the game
"Beat the game" if there is nothing extra to do/collect that has any meaning
All X to me would indicate that it beats the game while getting/doing All X so it wouldnt be used for 100% (you cant say that "ocarina of time all cows" is the same as "ocarina of time 100%" :D)
then there are cases like sm64 which could technically say 0 star is any% and 120 is 100% but then the naming would be inconsistent when you want the 1 star, 16 star and 70 star categories so it makes sense for them all to be named after the star count.
im not sure but i feel like ive heard or read somewhere that the any% and 100% that most speedrun categories are named come from the old super metroid scene but i could be very wrong, do not take this as a true fact :D
in the "first steps" is where i meant you want the "World A" in and in place of the eeaeaeaea you put "First Steps" (assuming thats the name for level 1) and the other levels in the world A.
as a result instead of having as many things on the drop down as there are levels, it only has as many worlds as there are in the game.
create "world a" as a category and make levels 1-4 as subcategories
i didnt see anything wrong.
unless you were talking about strongest link with the "1P" option which obviously isnt intended to be used
only problem i see is that (from my understanding) the game currently is only accessible to people of the community. if that is the case then having a public leaderboard for a game that isnt public doesnt sound like the best idea in my mind.
but the game requesting page should have all the info you need:
the way you worded that reminded me of the old joke about how you could play bayonetta with only one hand
if its just a route, then text.
but if its a tutorial then video.
you could alternatively have a text guide with links to videos but that could still be confusing for a new comer and a video would be better
