the minecraft@Home team has discovered two seeds where the end portal spawns in your spawn chunk. due to game limitations, it must be ran in 1.7.10

keep in mind in the end, you may leave the spawn chunk.

The first seed, -7099026225756889922, is the nonnether seed. in this seed, you must breed villagers until you get an eye of end trade, while collecting emeralds to make it happen. more technical and rng heavy.

the second seed, -8164601954503879294, contains a fortress within the spawn chunk in the nether. you can lure blazes into your chunk using fishing rods.

Anyone interested in running one of these?

I have work to do. a user who I will not name submitted 3 runs to our site, and the 3rd one had a spice, that was caught by the fabulous leftsideworldwide. he went through, and all the runs submitted by that user contained splices

its worth noting that aside from the gif above, all the splices happened at the same time, and were dramatic enough to attribute to glitchy recording software, but, the runs have been removed due to this.

going forward, all runs will be watched thoroughly from front to end. if you see any other faulty runs, please don't hesitate to report it to us via speedrun.com, discord, or any other platform we are reachable in an official sense on.

So, I got a interesting comment on Reddit. It read:

“ My man, you require "full uncut" videos for speedruns? In a 10-15 hour game? I'm starting to see why no one is beating the doors down to post a run. You literally REQUIRE breaks in that amount of time unless you're a nasty ass eating on mic/cam and wearing diapers. I've actually been thinking about getting into this. Glad I didn't..”

I responded with

“ Is uncut a wierd requirement? if There is cuts in footage, then we have no way of knowing that you did not scout the route, etc etc. your welcome to speed up the footage when you are taking a break So that it is Easeyer To upload? You don’t need a facecam? You don’t need a mic? All you need is the full footage. That is a very common requiremnt! If you wish to voice your consirms more, feel free to by pming me”

Am I missing something? Was I in the wrong?

So, I was working on resserecting the No Mans sky speedrun community, and I changed around a few settings.

Added catagorys changed theme added variables

Now all the runs are gone!

Anyone have any idea of how to restore them and what went wrong?

A game, specifically nms, has received lots of updates changing the game mechanics. the time that was achieved for center% was made in 1.0, and is not possible in the current game. say we wanted to accept wr runs from the latest patch, but they would be obsolite due to the old run. what would you do in that situation?
