Most TAS strategies aren't used in real time. If humans could execute the blj you are talking about, it would save a bit of time, like around 3 to 5 seconds. But the problem is, you have to be mashing every couple of frames at a precise angle to build up a little of that speed. So in current year, no, but maybe it can be used in the near to distant future.
Third parties are ass when it comes to controllers on EMU. Examples are controllers with no logo, they're almost inferior in every way. I had one that had a wonky analog stick that popped off at times. As a former EMU runner, a first party N64 controller is authentic and cheap. I can help you with buying N64 controllers, just DM me on discord, @Jnoama#0001. Raphnet sells good ports, I.E N64 to USB, and GC to N64. Upgrade when you're ready. Hope you can get a good controller soon!
