To have an account on this site and other websites, you should be at least 13 years old. It's nice to see young people interested in speedrunning, but the internet can be a dangerous place.
Super Mario Odyssey has a page on this site for guides, click here. Guides can also be found on YouTube, make sure you're using the search bar.
Don't forget your schoolwork!
Welcome to the community! Could you clarify what you mean by your last sentence? Random streamers generally don't take someone else's speedrun and show it off without permission, because among other reasons, that's violation of copyright.
I'd think the super low commitment would be a draw for newer runners or runners needing some variety for a bit.
Pac, you've meant so much to this site and our community that it'll be sad to go, but you deserve some rest. Thanks for all your effort, and may your future be bright. Elo, welcome to our humble site, and let's make sure that we can all work together to better the site's quality without letting it down.
They're both still accessible on my end from the Edit Profile page, although I'm a donator. Gradient names are definitely a donator-only feature, not sure about extra social media platforms.
...I think your last sentence summarizes things well.
That said, it's nice to see passion on important issues like this! You might want to look into current clean energy solutions (solar, wind, geothermal, hydroelectric, etc.) and maybe some of the science behind electricity to start, Wikipedia and YouTube can help introduce you to these topics.
Another question to consider: this "solution", if possible, wouldn't be generating electricity when there are no storms (much like how solar can't generate electricity if there are storms). How would you solve this?
It's Minecraft. 'Nuff said.
Jokes aside, it's a contender for the most sold game ever, and more importantly for speedrunning, it has a massive following on Youtube. Speedrun content of Minecraft can gather views far higher than many other games, and these videos are often teenagers' (targeted audience!) first experience with speedrunning.

Same thing happens to me. If I'd have to guess, there's something weird with how Twitch does videos that messes things up with Avidemux.
One could always add the other moderator to the final combined leaderboard. Both moderators are relatively active on the site, so it shouldn't be much trouble to contact them to get things started.
It's a little complicated since Belarus is in the middle of a tough political situation right now. The flag speedrun.com displays is currently the official flag, and because Lukashenko has been president for the past years (potentially up until now), the flag is associated with him. The white and red striped flag is another historical flag which has been brought back for the anti-Lukashenko movement.
Depending on your definition of combat, some platformers might be good to include on the list. Celeste is the obvious example, with a sole "boss fight" in Any% which amounts to launching your character at another character repeatedly, much like the rest of the game's movement. Untitled Goose Game has no enemies to attack and some glitches.
Honestly, just take a look at the Games page, most of the first batch of games fit your requirements. It's hard to go wrong with them.
First thing that comes to mind is Celeste, though "long length" is pretty vague.
I should add that OBS has settings you can tweak, so if you turn down resolution/framerate/bitrate/etc., you may have better performance on your computer.
