Berlin, GermanyThe point is there is there is NO way to check if the players are teaming. Its possible that the death just presses the traps in the perfect moment. The only thing I can think of is to make a no shortcut category (for the TNT push) there will be a category for runs with and without the TNT push (I think we can put such runs in the "new" category Any% No Rulebreaking Skips for runs WITH the TNT skip)
I had a diskussion going on ingame with sleepy, if the skip of the last checkpoint on Sonic is against the rules. It dont belong to our All Checkpoints category but I dont see a Hive rulebreak (map glitch) in this case. The question is if I will add an Any%/NoRulebreakingSkips category for all maps? In this category a Video will be required! Do you have any questions or opinions on this change? I will hear what the community have to say and decide then if I will add it or not.
(I think it should be clear that huge skips are not allowed in this category).
In the rules of All Advancements it says: If someone does a random seed run the categories get likely splitted, will the same happen if I do a glitchless run?

Im thinking about give Pokemon Emerald Speedrunning a try, but I just have the german game Pokemon Smaragd (same as Emerald in german). Am I allowed to use the german version or do I need to buy the english version for speedrunning?
I see your points there but we really know each other and some are also moderators on the server so it is very very unlikely that they cheat. If you see a specific player and youre unsure if hes legit or not, PM me on the Hive Forums or post it here and I can check him/tell you why hes a trusted player.
Also, every player who tried to get a unlegit time here is permanently banned from this Leaderboard, these are also some top players in DeathRun so if there is a player who want a WR, it would be stupid to risk it.
The WRs without video evidence are by trusted players who got a high score and never was seen doing something illegal. They got a huge amount of points and we saw them multiple times perform legit times close to WR. You can search on youtube for speedruns and for most maps there are speedruns wich come close to WR with little fails.
We know that there are players trying to cheat their runs but we check most players and spectate them to be sure. :)
nah he want like a category with the dragon skip glitch and one without the dragonskip but every other glitch allowed so 2 diffrent any% categories
hm I dont like this idea. the only thing I could think of is a 1.9+ category, but how it is now is good. :)

Nice! I planned with a friend to do the same because this site allways rejected the idea for making a LB for Maps in mc. Do you plan to add moderators for viewing on runs? I would love to help in any way I can.
Also it would be cool to add that you can sort the runs by run count.
Im still working on this idea and know a good route (for all overworld blocks). Just want hear opinions on this idea.

Also I already changed the rules.
We try to do this hobby as professional as possible, dont take this too serious. At the end its just a game and if you got after 200 games a WR another good time shouldnt be that hard.

Youre a Kangaroo ranked player and got the worst times on every other map. As I wrote in this forum, its hard to see if players are legit players or hackers. We had huge problems because of hackers who tried to get world records (who were clearly hacking) so we cant just add completely unknown players who claim to have a top time without a clear evidence. (Even if a screenshot is not 100% proof, we can get close to a legit run). Im am sorry for you experience DR Speedruns in this way, but a kangaroo (20k points) without that much experience of the game like players with over one million points, who know every single little trick on the maps, dont look like a trustfull worldrecord. Check the post I did on Forums and things should clear up.
Its allways better to submit a video. Videos, allways get accepted if you submit them because its the only 100% proof we can get. But you as example are a runner we know a bit better and trust so its no problem to send screenshots. Most other player who we dont really know and they want a top3 run we need some time to discuss if we can add them.
