was just thinking about this game because gdq just happened and thought about this category idea

basically its get every achievement aside from Wonderful 10,000 because after calculating everything if you beat every level including the two secret levels it leaves you at about 6,500 objects collected, meaning you'd need to grind out 3,500 more which sounds like a chore

but i feel like it would be cool and would change the routing if we went for all other achievements since the normal routes don't go for the brontosaurus, orangutan, donut, or ship iirc

another cool idea might be all levels where we also do arcadia and the sugar candy secret level

So I was thinking about doing a 4 player run of this and I had some questions:

What cheats are and aren't allowed? I know the the WR vid the Noble Sacrifice cheat is used numerous times to stack up on money, but what's stopping runners from say, using the cheat that gives the Power of Love for every level? Is it just agreed upon that we can only use the sacrifice cheat?

Secondly, why is it that we purchase from Wallace's shop for stat maxing? Wouldn't no account video be faster to max stats on?

i feel like every time i hesitate while boosting the game knows it and makes me sit in place like the coward i am

Hey guys, I just started practicing this run and have gotten a mildly decent time (current PB is around 1:27), but I have a couple of questions on some fights that have been giving me some trouble

-Spirit of the magic mirror: my problem here is usually being unable to charge the finisher because he disappears too fast which makes the fight significantly longer. After I knock him down he gets up with one more hit needed for a full charge.

-Dragon: I can't seem to get this in one cycle; I get the second spellweaver but once it's charged she just flies away and I lose the charge

-Braig: every time I land swordbill, it brings him to half a bar or HP left and then he moves out of the attack and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here

I figured I'd post this as a separate thread since the last time this board has been posted in was half a year ago so I don't even know if any of the mods are going to read this but: Why not have a New Game category; probably to be run on easy (due to speed) or normal.

While I figure you could do a NG+ run with the 5/6 star weapons and plow through things, I thought this would be a neat category too due to not actually needing a save file to start the run.
