I mean, to say none of us have been around speedrunning for very long is kinda a poor attitude to take and a pretty unfair assumption . Many of us have been around speedrunning for a long time which is why we expect these basic categories. Most speedrunning boards I've seen immediately separate console from PC, not only because of load times but controller vs keyboard and mouse etc. To me it's basic and I don't get why it seems to be such an issue. But that's fine, I'll just run something with a better handled leaderboard, I guess.

What's the likelihood of more categories? I would like to run this game but I only have it on PS4 and would only be interested in a glitchless run but it seems like PC and console aren't separated which would mean that console players would immediately be at a disadvantage due to load times etc.

Yeah, let's just make this run a meme. When does it stop though? Tools to make this/that consistent. For example, here's a tool to make the arrowhead zombie consistently lunge. Here's a tool to make the bee's drop in 2 seconds every time. Soon it's going to get to the point where you just active "easy" mode with all this shit and there's no skill involved. Smfh. My vote is no.

I'm new to speedruns and I've had a bit of a weird issue with live split. I have the load remover and it's set to go against game time etc but I loaded it up today and my times are different from my last run. Basically I finished a run at 57:02 and when I load up livesplit now it says my last time was 54:35. Is there an explanation for this or have I done something wrong?
