Running games people haven't run before is good! Plus speedrunning is still gaining popularity, one-player games can gain traction later on, you never know.

Best you can do about Liberty or Death is contact the game mod. If the mod is inactive you can request mod for yourself, though you're probably too new for that yet.

It doesn't matter if Europa Universalis 3 and 4 are already on the site, game requests are treated individually. You can request 2 to be added in the Europa Universalis series.

All the games you are mentioning are big enough to have their own wikipedia entries so you probably have a strong case for them, the main problem right now is that your account is a couple hours old.

I don't think the mods are too regarding about the speedrun you are linking to your request. Just do your best, don't do silly things like go afk for no reason, etc.

It's rare that a shmup becomes a popular speedrun game because most of them have big autoscroller parts.

However, if you're looking for a very optimised danmaku game I would recommand Touhou Double Spoiler. Top 3 Any% are very good.

Sometimes boards don't tell the whole story. Take Kamilia 3. Completing the game within, let's say, one year, means you are extremely good at platformers. Completing it in one sitting is insane. So last place on Kamilia 3 Any% is still very good at what they're doing.

I think it's an interesting idea, but I think it would only work if you limit it to say, the 500-1000 most popular categories on the site. The majority of games/categories on this site have like 1-3 runners, so having it decided on who runs low activity games the most would make the whole thing a little absurd.

Is Test Driver allowed? Marshallracer is the only one using him even though his car is around 15kph faster on the straights.

Which one is it? There are a few countries that you cannot select from abroad due to legal reasons, such as North Korea. Maybe a VPN could do the trick.

Cyberscore has a lot of times for GT4, even though most of them are from the 2000s, and proofless.

Having different classes is an interesting idea but unless you limit yourself to the 10 or 20 most popular tracks the leaderboards are likely going to be very empty.

I'm in favor of using in-game time for all-races. But ultimately, we can't do much unless mod is onboard.

It speeds up battles, as it causes the game to either bypass or play a fast distorted version of certain sounds(such as level up, pokemon cries, fainting sounds).

Interesting question. There is at least one VPN company that offers North Korean IPs(they pretend to have physical servers somewhere on the Chinese border, though that seems unlikely), but that's really not something I would try myself.

I am all for switching to no loads times but it seems like a hard call to make unless someone comes up with some kind of automated tool.

Another solution would be to switch to in-game time in races categories, but again - not a very practical option if you have to calculate everything manually.
