The BFDIA 5b challenges spreadsheet is now open! The one category right now is least deaths, with Any% and 100%. Submit your runs through the submission form. More challenges or category extensions can be added later. Also, the Deathless category will now be archived on the leaderboards, this is replacing it.

I've been talking with Gave2Haze, the guy who set up the leaderboards and also created the Deathless category when the leaderboards started in February 2017. He's okay with the category being closed and he didn't know there were necessary deaths when he made it. I was the only other runner up until now and I'm fine with closing the category. The reason is at a top level it would be the same as Any% as the optimal strategies for Any% is under the game's necessary amount of deaths (24). What I think I will do is archive it soon (like the IGT subcategory) and in its place I can make a minimum deaths challenge spreadsheet. We could add more challenges to it and side categories in the future.
Everybody in the 5b Discord seems to agree with closing it. The only two runners of it so far (me and AntLadders) agree and so does the category's creator, Gave2Haze.
The buyable platforms are known to be buggy, you might have to start over
Yes, please. It will make me more likely to run this game more.
By the way I lost my WR in my main game so I'd want to focus on that at the moment so I might not run this game immediately
You can resize your window on emulator to be very wide or very tall, letting you see more to the sides and might make mapping easier

I'd be at least interested in a list of the best possible times for each level going by the in-game timer upon touching flagpole/axe. This would also be ignoring pausing for fireworks.
By the way more categories can be added, like 100%, I just don't know all of the unlock requirements or what the rules would be. So if anyone finishes a run of a new category, I could add it.
Play No Walking, No Problem! here: https://htwins.net/nwnp/
No Walking, No Problem! is a webgame, can that be added?

Can Toxic Targets be added to the Cartoon Network series? I know Total Drama originally a Teletoon show, but the game is on Cartoon Network's website and Cartoon Network was the other major station for the show.
No one responded to my thread earlier, and I never heard back from the series moderator. https://www.speedrun.com/cartoon_network/thread/951ax

My OBS went back to 60 fps so the issue is solved for now.
@dez_Games I knew the FPS of the game, so that wasn't the issue.
@Liv I could try checking the log if I have this issue again. I knew it was recording at 30 because on YouTube uploads you can check the fps under right click > "stats for nerds", and by using frame advance with the < and > keys. I also check video files by its properties or by opening it up in video editing software.
Yeah, you can clip through the ceiling on all of the castle levels. You can clip through pretty much any ceiling in the game as long as Bernie can jump high enough and it's not a single block wide.
I don't think it would save time at the world record level, plus you would lose time getting the powerup
Here's my demonstration of the game with coinless 2-2. 2-2 is at 2:29.
I have done 2-2 coinless as well! I think these two coins might have been the issue, but they are low enough to where you can weave around the coins and jump over them. I recorded a run doing every level before it then coinless 2-2. I can upload the full video, but here is a clip of the 2 coins being avoided. https://streamable.com/8tdfah
So now it's 1 coin for 1-1, 1 coin for 3-1, we don't know about 4-2 yet, and the other 9 levels are possible coinless.
Here's my demonstration of the game with coinless 1-3 and 4-3. 1-3 is at 1:33 and 4-3 at 9:55.
I've beaten the game with coinless 1-3 and 4-3! On 1-3, start small and get the first powerup. You can crouch jump on the first star block then clip through the ceiling, then beat the level. On 4-3, star small and get the first powerup. Turn left and hop back onto the right edge on the high platform right before it. You can crouch jump and clip through this spot and beat the level. I can upload my video of this run.
