Pyramid for the first time, EVERYTHING is allowed. That includes using any pendant, having the whole skilltree unlocked and so on. That is quite a huge difference to NG.
I guess thats something we can discuss.
My intention was that you cannot grind inbefore a run, because you had to do that for every single run if you want a really good result. All of that seemed to be a lot less fun to me. I wouldn't even mind the trinkets though, playing only half the level seems ok to me in NG+.
I am not sure if a savefile saves progress and skilltree only, or also currently locked pyramids and purchased scrolls. If the latter is the case, I would be down to change the NG+ rules, as the Grind would only have to be done once and the file could be shared. If not, however, I am going to stick with my point.
I don't care to much for that category. However, I say: If you want to play it, add it to the board! Just talked to Bingchang about this, he was a little concerned that you could not have all the levels uncompleted when starting the run. Luckily, the Caster savefiles are just plain text and therefore easy to edit. I edited a savefile to have no level completed, but every spell learned and every stat maxed out. You can find that in the "Ressources" section:)

Hey people, I see this is a pretty dead game but I still want to learn it. I'm stuck at the suicide by napalm bombs in the sewers, when you then enter the castle: No idea how that one works. When I try to do what I see in videos I respawn at the beginning of the sewers...
Sorry that im this late to answer. After some testing I do now believe that we should ALWAYS use twitch to vote for ourselves, meaning: Getting the scroll we want. Consistency is always a good thing, even if we cannot make this game too competitive because, well, roguelike. But I see we need to discuss this, as my plans seem to deny yours about involving your community (you must be pretty masochistic btw).
Another thing that came to my mind: If we can send savefiles, do we also send a currently locked pyramid? That would allow us to have something like a seed, or at least the same result, meaning: We could indeed have competitive single pyramid categories!
On a final Note, im really glad that you guys wanna join me in this crazy speedgame. I actually expected me to be the only one here forever :D Currently working on 2. and 3. pyramid, will upload as soon as im satisfied with my results
I got a question right away: Turok 1 got in, but with the estimate of Turok 2. Which one is it?
As everyone is posting updates:
- Circumstances changed, and I will only be at ESA from the 25th. Wrote that into all submissions now as well.
- Constantly updating Turok 2, as it wasn't out in time for submisions (meaning no video etc. at that time), and also new strats are found every now and then. It has a new video now that may be updated again if necessary.
