Even if you're last place, it's worth submitting. because In the incoming years, seeing yourself improve - quickly rising in the ranks - that is more impressive than submitting a good time once.

Tough to say if i'm actively Speedrunning the campaign of LevelHead. Since it has a ton of user-build Levels, i usually play them and end up optimizing setups/strats or outright cheese their level to stand atop the in-game Leaderboard... Only to get beaten the next few days.

Hello and good evening everyone. I am Intuition?!. I've been interested in speedruns for ages... predating Youtube times. It's actually thanks to SDA that brought Youtube into my teenager years back in 2006. While it's always been a blast to watch people absolutly destroying the game during speedruns. Never - not even once - have i thought to do so myself.

As for my goals...? There isn't one. Unless you count the desire to simply improve yourself playing any Game.

Currently, my focus is on "LevelHead". Though not the Campaign. Rather, Community build Levels. It's a highly underrated Game similiar to Mario maker. But it is in no way inferior considering only a small indie Team created this game and can recommend it to all Platforming & Kaizo lovers.

Another Game i recently picked up is "Million to one Hero" It's pretty much the same genre - a Platforming Maker.

There are a few other games I'd like to give a shot, now that I have joined. Such as Super Meat Boy & Celeste. Alas, no promises.

I am sorry, i exaggerated. the point was to clearly convey that the moment you "quit" the game. the speedrun should stop right there. you're no longer playing the game the moment the game is closed. Again, this is just my own opinion on this matter. just because i don't approve of it doesn't mean i'll prohibit everyone else from doing it.

Personally, i find it wrong to entirely quit the game during a speedrun. Closing the game has nothing to do with the game itself - so if a game has no main menu to save & load, but have to quit to achieve the same effect... welp. you gotta deal with it. I mean, anything goes "within" the bounderies of the game. not outside of it. Otherwise, you may very well allow people to rigg the consoles/mod the game behind the scenes.

Since you - Matse - seem to enjoy Platformers a lot. How about you give LevelHead a shot? It's similiar to Mario & Celeste. although it may be a bit far fedged to say that LevelHead and Celeste have something in common. ...Anyway. An "All Levels (Any%) takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Actually, that's not even a good estimate, as there hasn't been an optimized run yet. Not even deathless. So your chances are very good to be the first person to get sub 1 hour.

are the in-game replays for IL runs required? or is footage enough?

Are you guys planning to include individual level runs?
