RTA Viable Wrong Warp Found!!
- Initially stumbled upon by Colinbolts
- me and him found consistent spots on the level that trigger the wrong warp
Strat name: ROLLIN DEEP Wrong Warp
Going in about Bassilisks post about the rule set, if you start a new character on a premade file, Sumners initial text doesn't appear. Its very minor, but it would put runs that start fresh on new game (which should be how any run that is done for any% , 100%, Glitchless, and special mode) at a disadvantage losing time to having to close out that text at the start of the run. I'm suggesting the rules should be implied that MUST start new file, no loading previous file period. The special characters that are unlocked would also be obsolete due to not having them on the start of a new file. There would be nothing wrong with unlocking them and then changing over to them in a run, however the time spent to get them would again make them not worth using at all since you would start back on square one with no runestones, crystals or anything. However in a coop run for swag at any point of the run any of the other potential 3 players (the main player would have to stick with a character to maintain the progress made) wanted to switch over to an unlocked character that would be completely fine and legitamite. This would be possible for a 100% coop run, let's say for example if 2 people were doing a coop run, then another person shows up and wants to hop on later in the run, they could select an unlocked character. Ultimely I just wanted to point out if the ruleset is to start new character regardless of new file or premade file, then at that point might as well allow unlockable characters at the start of a run. However I'm all for runs starting on a brand new fresh file, because anything else feels like new game + which there's already a category for that
Only problem I have with that is might as well just run the whole game at that point. The IL's already showcase how fast the levels can be beat. There's nothing stopping anyone from doing individual realms and seeing what kind of time you get from that, hell that's one of the best ways to practice and I do that all the time. However I dont see the point of making a spot for individual realms on the leaderboards. If someone does decide to do IL's for Arcade possibly there can be a way to separate how IL,s are submitted for that given you can't select individual levels only realms. However ultimately they still can be timed individually and submitted just as any other IL
The reason the timing starts at a different time, is because entering in the character name FIRESEAL should not be considered part of the run. In the rules it states timing starts on selecting name FIRESEAL
Show FPS for any Emulator runs that are submitted. Use the most accurate Emulators (any emulators that run faster then actual hardware not allowed)
Yea if you Pause the timer during a run that you submit to any leaderboards that I personally moderate I will reject the run plain and simple. Just keep the timer running if you have to do something IRL, that's just how it goes. This is not SDA, Segmented runs of any sort have no place on an RTA Leaderboard

Here is a sick Raw Casual Playthrough. Unfortunately the player does not complete in one single segment. This is a must see for all new players of this game to kind of see what it is like to play this game blind and casually.
Hope you enjoy this casual Play and Smoke along, this is a Green Leaf Production!!"
