There is 2 Player. It is not coop, but a category can be made for playing it together by reaching a combined point total.
Why not just separate them into two sub-categories so that people who arent actual wizards can try playing and beating the game?
What exactly is the difference between A B and C? Just fire pattern/rate?

Does this mean you cant change Lives and Difficulty in Dip Switches? Or does it mean no ROM hacks or weird stuff?

Sorry its taking a bit to process this request. I am figuring out the best way to do it that hopefully results in concise categories and not a ton that people dont run.
Are there any real differences in the story / duration of the game for the different dragons? If so I can definitely add sub categories for each.
In terms of Levels, I saw in your run there was a Level Select, but do you know if that runs Just that Level, or if it starts you at that level and make you run the full game?

This game has a 2 Loop special ending. If you play all the way through the end of Loop 1 and then put coins in you can enter Loop 2 which has a little extra paragraph at the end with some extra info about the heroes.
Any chance we could add 1 Loop and 2 Loops as subcategories? HighWarlordJC and me have performed a 2 Loop run which you can see :
Starting at minute 22 when we fall into it. It rolls over to Mission 8 and goes to Mission 14.

So originally "Take control of your ship" meant the moment you could start moving around and shooting (there is a small few seconds between when you select ship, it launching you into the level, and then you taking control)
However, in a few of the other games I moderate Ive started going away from that and started leaning in to "Start on ship select" because its easier to start the timer for runners there.
Let me know which you prefer and I will make that the ruleset and retime the 2 runs if needed.

Newest patch turned Progress screen into a Scene Select (after we bugged the dev on Steam Forum a bit for it, props to them), should we use that for Individual Levels or is anything on the table for a "during the campaign" run / loadout?
