I think it's a fun idea, but a ravine might ruin the category, you would just need a bit of gravel, and a deep ravine.
I like the idea of speedrunning on 1.14. I really enjoyed doing it before 1.16, but it just went away as soon as 1.16 came. If they split the 2 versions into different categories, then players could run both and there would be more than one way of beating the game which, in my opinion would be more interesting.
