The Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle DLC, Donkey Kong Adventure was basically too small to be a sequel but too big to be a basic add-on to the game. As such, the developers made it so that, once you load up the game, you choose from either the main game or DKA, and then it shows you either your 3 save files for the main game, or your 3 save files for DKA, depending on which you select.

While any% is the only category currently on speedrun.com for MRKB, there have been extensive talks on the Discord for future categories like 100% and the game's form of NG+ (All Levels WM). All these categories have equivalent forms in the DKA DLC.

Based on this, do you think it's worth it submit the DKA DLC as a separate game in the same series, or just add all these categories to the existing leaderboard?

I brought this up on the Discord yesterday but it didn't seem to get much attention, so I thought I'd post it to its own thread.

I'm not sure if this was discussed by mods early on, but what is the reasoning for the run ending on the Epilogue? I understand that the game brings you straight to it after the credits but it seems arbitrary to add time for a dash and a skipped cutscene.

My argument for ending at the Summit is that the credits follow that level, meaning that the Epilogue is post game and shouldn't be a part of any%. I propose that timing is stopped either when the credits roll or when you reach the flagpole, since that's when the in-game timer stops.

I have my docked Switch which has an HDMI cable running to an external Elgato HD60 capture card. The capture card is connected to my monitor via HDMI, which does not have built in speakers or an audio jack. The card then has a USB connection to my streaming PC (duh).

For streaming, I have OBS using Game Capture Software as a vidoe capture source. This is important (I think).

Since I don't have speakers on my monitor, and the docked switch does not send audio through HDMI if you have headphones in, I can't get game audio to myself while streaming (it captures on stream and in recordings just fine). So, we go to the computer to capture the audio. Elgato's Sound Capture won't work unless I have Game Capture HD open, which means OBS won't work. If I tell OBS to send audio from the capture to my speakers, I don't get it in the recording.

Does anyone know how to set it up so that I get game audio in my recording and also sent to my headphones while I play?

Has anyone verified the glitch mentioned in this reddit thread? Feel like it may be used in 100% runs as a safety strat. https://www.reddit.com/r/speedrun/comments/6yd7p0/mario_rabbids_glitch/
