I find this whole thread kinda funny to me because I'm 13 now and I started speedrunning when I was 10, and it helped me find a lot of cool people and things I would've never discovered had I not started speedrunning.

@StefanGose if its a 40 hour speedrun its highly likely that they have a rule that allows you to record it in a few parts (for example: Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories 100%) as to not hurt the runner's physical and mental health, but you still wanna check with that specific community.

SMB and Legend of Mega Koopa (A mediocre mario 1 mod) Super Smash Land (Game Boy style Smash Bros Fan-game) PaRappa the Rapper 2 (Yes, there is a sequel to that one rhythm game, and yes, it is way better than the original)

I also used to run a flash game series called Riddle School (which is actually pretty cool), but since I used streamable instead of youtube back then, they weren't permanant links and most of them have been removed, sadly

ILs: Mario: Mini Moto (Top-down racing flash game) Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel (Really neat GBC mgs game)

@PlathTheSalt just a heads up, Twin Galaxies has been involved with some shady stuff and some exposed cheaters have been found so there is a good chance that the Pole Position record is faked, especially since you said "As it turns out, the current leader actually somehow scored higher than the number of points possible in the game."

Sub-optimal, I think you should be able to improve your time by using the Two-Handed rub technique, like you're trying to start a fire. Good first run though
