Hi people, I would like to speedrun this game with my mrs but don't have the first clue about the autosplitter, could anybody give me any advice how to get it working please. Thank you

If anybody has the knowledge of potentially creating a autosplitter for this version of the game then it would be really beneficial as this is the fastest version of the game.

I posted a thread the other day including a new doorskip catergory for (GCN EMU) which was Resident Evil 2 (US) exclusive, but I'm happy to announce that it is now available for Biohazard 2. This was developed by Sergey P. All credit is due to him. If you would like to play this version it is as simple as downloading this file here: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/WidescreenFixesPack/releases/tag/re2re3gc and extracting both files which should contain scripts and version.dll into the Dolphin folder. This works on Dolphin 2407, and 2409. Have fun.

I've just tested the door skip then, and I finished Leon A (GCN EMU) in 50:38 with a garbage run. It's exactly the same as the base game but skips door animations completely, similar to the Re1 remake. If I did a competent run of it tonight and submitted it, could it be analysed, please? And what are the chances of it being accepted? It's the fastest version of the game bar non; RTA was like 30 minutes, if that.

It litrally just removes the door animations

I recently came across a door skip code for Dolphin, since it's accepted on the gemini speedrun edition, would this be accepted for a GCN emu run as the aim of speedrunning is to finish the game in the fastest time possible, I'm unaware if it affects igt or not at the moment. Thanks

Sorry, I now have the portable.txt how do i store the config into the portable.txt or does it do it automatically?

I'm using 4.0.2 as its the optimal version for running the game imo, loads much quicker

Hi Steven, there's an option for 5 and 4.0.2, so by rights it should work, tried it and followed the readme folder to the latter and it just isn't working, doesnt start at all.
