How to get sub 23 seconds in Tutorial%

This is just going to be a quick guide detailing some of the strats that are featured in the current world record run (00:22:070) for Tutorial%



But first, a quick description of the run.

There are a few different ways to beat the Unturned tutorial. The fastest way to reach the end message is to skip from the gun table directly into the pool.


This is achieved by picking up the Zubeknakov (AK-47) and dismantling it into parts, and then crafting a metal plate, which can then be placed and used to jump onto and over the wall and into the water.

From there, the run is fairly simple. Climb the ladder and sprint until the end message appears.



Doing this fast can pretty consistantly grant you a 25 second time, maybe even 24 seconds with some quick crafts.

However, there are some small optimisations we can make to lower this time further.

This is the spawn screen. After here, you want to immediately walk forward and move your mouse to the right, trying to get as close to that right wall as possible without touching it.

Practice taking this corner as tight as possible, involving a sharp turn with the mouse.

From there, optimise by running in as straight of a line as possible, to avoid time loss by moving to the side, taking sharp turns.

This is where the run really starts. Right before you jump onto the table, bring up your inventory. You can actually begin dragging the gun into your inventory before you land on the table and while in mid-air. It takes some practice to get the timing right, but after that it's not hard to do consistantly.

This is also where I introduce resolution strats. By changing the resolution of your game, you can squash the UI closer together, making it easier to quickly move the gun from the Nearby tab into your inventory. Experiment with different resolutions to find one that works the best with your monitor.

After the gun is in your inventory, salvage it into wood and metal and then craft a metal siding (you can also press your craft key INSTEAD of clicking on the gun to do this more efficiently).

Then place the sliding on the wall in order to jump up on it and over the wall. This can take some practice when it comes to judging where to place the siding, but find a place that works for you (or just copy off previous runs.)

You can also rotate the siding to allow jumping onto it easier, but this does lose some time.

From there you should be able to sprintjump over the wall, and into the water.

Next, when approaching the ladder, look to the top of the ladder and spam the interact key (normally bound to F). This will allow you to grab the ladder faster and save time waiting to reach it by swimming.

You can also do the same thing with this ladder, by jumping and pressing F at the peak of your jump to clip on to the highest point of the ladder as possible.

From there, all you have to do is run straight and with practice a sub 23 (or even sub 22) time.

How to use Elver Save Files for parkour category

The save file is basically just a world that I did all the quests except the last one, it has a bunch of items and money, so you can just enter it and do the speedrun.

### Now we need to go to the worlds folder

Go to:

# Unturned\Worlds\Singleplayer_0\Players

Here you will see a folder With a bunch of numbers, that's your ID, if you have multiple accounts, you will have multiple folders, just open the one that you think you are using

You will see folders of every map that you played, if you don't have an Elver folder, we will just put one there after, if you have one, just go on the game and click reset world

Extract the Elver folder in your desktop or somewhere you can access and then just copy and paste it into the folder that has all the maps we just saw.

To reset, just reset the map in unturned and then copy and paste again

# **Very Quick introduction to the category**

The run is about getting 3 teleporter coills, using a teleporter, defeating a mega zombie and then using the teleporter again to finish the run.

# Teleporter coils Positions

This is a coil.

The first Coil is located in the train tracks in the very north of the map, inside a red cointainer that fell to the side of the train.

The second one is a tricky one to get normally, its in a radioactive city, but you will see its easy getting it in this route.

# Third Coil

Third one is in the sewers in berlin underwater, you will get it at the end of the run no matter what, so its better to show it later anyways.

# The Route

If you want a really barebones version of the route, this is it, you start in the red line in Berlin, get basic supplies, then get guns and Plane/Heli in the military base, get 2 of the coils that i mentioned above, die by resetting after the second coil, respawn and go to the sewers in berlin to finish up everything![](/static/blob/7e9j7yn1.png)

Now lets explain things in detail

# Berlin Split

Little map explaining what you do

The red things are the possible spawn points, there are different ways to play Berlin but this the best one for various reasons, just always go to the gas station first

In the gas station you will need

- Gas can
- Car (A bike also works but will be very slow)
- Flashlight (optional but will help you a lot)
- Every piece of clothing you can get

Remember that if the car has a good amount of gasoline you might not even need to put anymore gasoline, this depends on the car, because some cars are really slow, but if it is a fast car and has like 22% gas you can probrally make it to the military base if you drive well enough.

You can see in the map there another stop right before leaving Berlin, thats a **Laundromat**, get a lot of **clothes** to make **cloth** and then make a **bedroll** and **set your spawn** on the **street**, like the picture below (Print from my run).

sometimes there is little clothing there, so always get mechanic clothing in the gas station if you find it, you can also scrap the clothes you spawn in with to get more cloth.

This is important because we **die** at the radioactive city, so this way we use the plane to **airdrop all of our items** before that

# **Going to the military base**

After setting your spawn drive to the Military Base as shown on the map from earlier, you can skip a lot of time in this section by doing 2 things

- Go in the water instead of going all the way to the bridge
- Scrap the battery of your car to jump the military base wall

There is no right way to do this, you need to adapt it to the way you prefer playing it, I suggest watching my run, KCDQantonin's run and Kiddy's run to see how we do it.

But the ideia is to go somewhere on the river where you can get across and then learn a part of the mountain to climb, there isnt really a right place, its justo where you find it easier.

And to jump the wall, take out the battery of the car, scrap it, craft a metal pipe, rotate it using the right mouse button and then jump on top of it, really simple.

Im was going for World Record, so i took a riskier route

# Military base Looting and Routing

In the military base you will need 2 things

- Plane/Heli
- Guns and ammo

Very Basic map of 3 routes that you can take to enter and loot the military base.

- Purple is the slowest, but its the most safe since you take the road and dont have to worry about messing up while driving or jumping the wall, you can also check all the relevant places for guns and ammo
- Blue is Faster and doesnt require a lot of luck, since you can check all the relevant places, but thats also the reason why its not the fastest, you take too long looting
- Red route basically is just for world record, you are pretty much resetting for a hell's furry since there are not a lot of gun spawns there

**Its important to know that you can leave and rejoin the map to reset the ground loot if you dont have enough ammo/guns (doesnt work for vehicles)**

The peacemaker is your best option if you dont find a hell's fury (its really rare)

# Vehicles

You will need something that flies.

A plane can spawn on the Runway or inside the Hangars, And a heli inside the Helipads

**RESET IF YOU DONT HAVE ANY OF THESE**

Fill them up 100% with gas from any of the gas tanks nearby, you can also fill a car up with gas to then transfer the gas to the plane/heli incase its far away, this way you dont lose time running around too much

**(you dont need to fill up a plane to 100%, its just safer in case you mess something up, but if you want put it to 85%)**

# Flying split

Leave the military base and head to berlin to drop your items.

You have 2 options:

- Remove all backpacks and etc while in the air, dropping the items on top of your bed
- Land the vehicle and drop everything on the ground (safer)

If you have an helicopter its very easy to just land on the street, if you have a plane, things are a little bit more tricky, but you can just practice

If you want to drop things from the air, go to third person and look down to see if you are above the road, then just drop all the guns, and a flashlight, this will take a little bit of practice and there isnt really a right way to do this, just takes practice to get a good timing to drop.

I suggest you watch some runs to see how we do it.

After that go to the train tracks, use your map to get the right angle.

## Landing the Plane/Heli at the train

I really dont know how to explain how to land a plane, just make sure to slow it down a lot, the path i take to land a plane is always the same, maybe this helps so you have an idea on what to do.

I try to aim for the beggining of the tracks, and when im getting close i start to slow down and turn, so i can land on the part that has grass, to be safer.

the coil is where im at in the screenshot, inside a cointainer, just get there really quick get the coil and then return to the plane, if possible ignore the zombies.

And to takeoff again make sure to tilt the plane in a way that makes it not colide head first with the train, almost using the train as a ramp.

after that go to the radioactive city behind the mountains (cologne).

# Radioactive City Coil(Cologne)

Since you wont have a mask you need to be quick. The route is pretty simple, you fly there, get the plane really close to the city, jump off when you are on the city, get the coil, and reset (the Sulcide button)

Your view will look like this:

The red circle is where the coil is, you need to jump there but make sure to not wait too much, because the plane will hit a tree and kill you, and also you need to make sure to not die of fall damage.

On the map (inverted it so its make more sense):

**MAKE SURE TO CLICK HOME WHEN YOU RESPAWN, YOU NEED TO SPAWN ON YOUR BED**

after this we will be in the last split of the run.

# SEWER TIME!!

In this split we will get the last coil, enter the boss room and finish the run.

After you respawn:

- Get your bed, you will need it later
- grab all of the items that you dropped
- if you think its necessary, go to the pharmacy and get medical supplies
- Enter the Manhole right in the middle of the road 

# Navigating the sewer:

If you have a flashlight things get easier

The easiest way to explain how to get to the teleporter is to just take the first tunnel to the right, ignore all the ones to the left, there will be a hole in the wall that shows the teleporter, set your spawn with the bed, drop all the guns and etc

after that continue the path you just took dont turn to other tunnels until you reach a part made of rocks, there will be a small gap on your right thats full of water, on the bottom of this underwater part there will be a coil, get it and die again, then you will be able to use the teleporter when you respawn

# Killing the boss

There is a lot of spots where you can kill the boss, the easiest one is by making the zombie stuck on the teleporter, this spot may change with game updates because we are abusing some of the werid behavior of zombies

You need to lure the Boss to the middle of the teleporter and then hide behind the yellow thing to not get hit, it might take some time to get it down but its not hard you can also just run around and shoot its not really hard

The run finishes when you teleport back.

# How to reset:

Restart the run on any world that doesnt spawn you in berlin, you can kill the player once to see if you get lucky and respawn on berlin but if you dont just restart.

Restart the run if you dont find a car in berlin, you can get one in the parking lot of next to the gas station inside the gas station, or up the road near the school

Restart the run if you dont have a flying vehicle in the military base

The run is pretty simple and the route is not hard, I restart the run if i make a mistake, you might not want to do that, but if something happens like:

- Car gets stuck underwaterl
- Item airdrop goes wrong
- forgot to set spawn

Just leave and try again, its not worth trying to recover



# Little Things worth noting

- If you dont have enough ammo just leave and join again to respawn the items
- A gas can/flashlight might spawn on the military base, next to the vehicles, in case you dont find it on the gas station

Mark2% Guide for Wrs or Casuals runs

**Hi, in this guide i will show :**

How to obtain the Mk.II

Some tips

The WR path (in my opinion)

**Very Quick introduction to the category :**

The goal of the run is getting the "Shadowstalker Mk.II", you'll need to do a lots of steps, during the entire run quests will show you where you'll need to go, the entire map will be crossed, even the deadzone ! Bones, skull, zombies, boss, quests and mostly luck and skills will be involved.

**Pirates artifacts :**

There is plenty of artifacts to collects on the map, here's a list and a chart of what you need to collect :

-Pirate chest (underwater)

-Pirate skull (Liberator)

-Bones :

1 inside the well at Nordvik Farm.

1 in a canoe at Camp Kazan.

1 Along the central rock pile at the ancient stone ruins between St. Petersburg and Keryev.

1 At the collapsed metro tunnel in Moscow

1 At Zavod in the third tank body from when approachin northbound.

You can collect them whenever you want but if you don't have all of them you can't finish the run.

I put a dot precisely to show you where they are and I circled them in case you didn't saw them.

**The liberator :**

The first thing to do is swimming to The Liberator , at the ground floor take the skull and talk to the "Dr. Swamson", accept the quest named "Research Recovery" then go at the top of the building and introduce you to the "Captain Sydney", also talk to "Commander Laurence" and take the quest "On Air", after that go back to the ground floor and talk to the NPC "Natalie" nearby the tank and take the "broadcast repair kit".

**Tips :**

I suggest you to try spawning at the beach near the pirate chest, loot it and then suicide and hope for a spawn nearby the Liberator because you will lose a lot of time if you go for it mid game.

You can press [use] key to skip the dialogs with the NPCs.

**Little bit of farming :**

During this speedrun you'll need a lot of ammo if you want finish it quickly, and most importantly gasmask and filters, I suggest you to farm either at Moscow or St.Petesburg depending on where you spawned, Moscow is the best choice because there is 2 fire station like St.Petesburg (that's were the gasmask/filter spawn) but you have a chance to get the police helicopter at Moscow, I suggest you to loot Zavid and maybe Volk Military Base if you don't have enough ammo.

**Tips :**

If you have a police helicopter before going to the deadzone you only need the gasmak, no need to search for filters you will have enough time with only the gasmak (if it's 100% of course).

The police helicopter is the fastest helicopter on the map.

**Deadzone :**

Now you need to complete the quest given by the Dr. Swamson, to do that you'll need to collect 4 capsule in the deadzone, look at the 4 point I've made go for it, take them and that's it now go back to the Liberator and end the quest.

**Anastasia :**

Go to St.Petesburg by night, go to the underground by using the ladder at the center of city, go constently on the right until you reach the end of the tunnel, you'll see a wall with weird symbol paint on it, type in the Area chat "Anastasia" and the wall will move, you need to kill zombies around the red crystal, after a certain amount you'll be teleported into a abandoned research laboratory, open the door on the right when you go downstairs then go touch the red crystal again to get teleported back.

**The boss :**

Place the pirate skull and the chest, and feed the crystal with zombies again, warning this time you'll be teleported in a room with a special giant zombie (he has super powers), after killing it you'll be teleported back again, take the 3 little crystal and go to Keryev, at the bottom of the mine place the crystal and kill zombies around it until it disappear, repeat the process under the big  arch in Moscow and in the cemetery at Yekativurg.

**Tip :**

The boss have OP loot, check what he drop but be quick you don't stand a long time in the room after he died.

**Radio towers :**

The final lap, head over the 3 island around Moscow, climb each radio tower and repair the radio signal, finally go the center where there is a huge white beacon, and collect the MK.II.

**The WR route :**

Now I will quickly explain what path you need to take if you want to beat the WR.

*The 3 suicide strat :*

Firstly you need to spawn on the beach near the pirate chest, take it then suicide and spawn near the Liberator, do what you need to do there and suicide to spawn at Nordvik farm and take the bone.

*Looting part :*

Rush to Moscow it's not far from the farm, take the bone, loot the 2 firestation, the military camp and if there is no heli my advice is to reset. If you have one, check the gas station and go to Zavod and take the bone then go to Volk military base.

*Bones and boss :*

Go to the deadzone take the capsule and leave, on your way back to the Liberator take the bone at Camp Kazan, finish the quest and before going to St.Petesburg take the last bone at the rock pile, do the crystal sacrifice but don't put the bones and the chest now or it will kill the run. Now put all the pirate stuff, do the crystal sacrifice again then kill the boss.

*Final part :*

Nothing special here, just take the 3 crystal and kill zombies around them, then repair the radio towers and collect the mk.II



For easier understanding you should watch the Mark2% run I made or even the one with cheat allowed. 

As you can see this isn't very complicated but it take a lot of time to do it, there is only 3 runs so you can improve the strategy a lot.
