Split between Keyboard and Gamepad control categories

Hi all, i'm going to make a post clarifying the reasons behind this category split, since it's better to do it now rather than after someone does a run, so they can't complain about being seperated into a different category just because their run utilised something so game changing.

We've been discussing recently about the Keyboard movement glitch (for those not in the know, you can run significantly faster using a keyboard, by simply press both a vertical and horizontal movement button and moving your camera to correct your direction), and we've decided to split speedruns of this game between Gamepad and Keyboard controls.

Initially, we considered simply splitting between Console and PC versions, however not only is there already many people running on PC with gamepad (which is, frankly, incomparaable to running with keyboard), and that (as far as we know) is the only significant difference between console and PC versions.

The solution we came to was to split between Gamepad and Keyboard control schemes. for clarification: multiple things count as "Keyboard" runs, rather than gamepad runs. Mapping keyboard inputs onto a gamepad via software counts as keyboard inputs, and will be categorised as such. Secondly, using both gamepad and mouse/keyboard control schemes during a single run will also count as a "Keyboard" Run, simply because somebody could use keyboard for the entire game (and be faster because of it), then switch to gamepad for the very end. these runs go into "Keyboard" since that is technically the fastest way to complete the game.

The reason we do a complete sweep over the entirety of Keyboard runs, rather than simply differentiating on whether the glitch is being used or not, is because chances are, you are utilising this glitch in spots during a speedrun if you're using keyboard for movement, regardless of whether you intended to or not.

Feel free to run the game using the glitch! technically, it does make the game faster by a significant margin, allowing you to not only run faster, but also avoid enemy encounters that you normally cannot outrun due to the movement speed increase.

Thanks all for your understanding on this issue, and feel free to ask any questions, Moderation team
