Furius Torch Strat for various phases

There's a small torch, second going counterclockwise from big Furius. If you approach it from underneath and to the left and move up against the torch, you will get lodged into a small invisible wall by the torch. This is a safe spot from a lot of attacks, which I show off a little in the videos provided above. You can also use the second torch clockwise from big Furius and just mirror the movement there.

The first link is missing a lot of phase 5/6 because my stream dropped some frames. The second link shows off phase 4 again, and the missing phase 5 from the first link.

**Phase 1**
BEGONE SATAN MASTER OF ALL DECEIT...
...AND ENEMY OF HUMAN SALVATION

Here the torch place is limited in its use. There homing ball that suddenly zips in a straight line towards your last position can go through the torch here, so you will end up dropping your Bible. Use it situationally. In the video I tried to strafe briefly down to avoid the zoom, but there were some bullets below me in the way.

**Phase 2**
PRINCEPS GLORIOSISSIME CAELESTIS...
...MILITIAE SANCTE MICHAEL...
ARCHANGELE DEFENDE NOS

Here, wait for the EGO VOCO DIABOLI incantation (the post that pops up will yoink you to the middle of the screen), grab the bible afterwards, and type while making your way partially to the torch spot. A bunch of giant things will spawn in a circle around you, and you don't want one to spawn above your torch spot. Make your way to the torch spot. The balls will not hit you and nor will the immediate bullets after that. Once the fountain of bullets come from the ground in an arc to land on you though, you can get hit there, but if you type fast enough this will not happen (I am not typing super fast in the video above.)

**Phase 3**
VENI IN AUXILIUM HOMINUM QUOS DEUS...
...CREAVIT INEXTERMINABILES ET AD...
...IMAGINEM SUAE FECIT

Here Furius stomps the ground and scrambles some words. The torch spot here is amazing. Just type to your heart's content. You should be able to make it past this with no problem.

**Phase 4**
ADESTO ITAQUE DUX INVICTISSIME,,,

...SPIRITUALES NEQUITIAS ET FAC...
...VICTORIAM

Here just play the phase normally. Go to the middle to EGO VOCO DIABOLI him and go on. This is where I find the torch spot least useful, because the stars go through the torch. If the meteors fall and spread bullets everywhere, it is a useful spot to stand though.

**Phase 5**
UBI SEDES PETRI ET CATHEDRA...

Furius stomps the ground and scrambles some letters. The torch spot is also pretty useful here, but sometimes you can get hit. Somehow the same zooming bullets from phase 1 don't go through the torch here.

**Phase 6**
SED PROJECTUS EST DRACO ILLE MAGNUS...
...SERPENS ANTIQUUS QUI VOCATUR...
...SATANAS QUI SEDUCIT UNIVERSUM...
...ORBEM AMEN

This one is the weirdest. If you go up to the normal torch spot, you can get hit continually and the bible will keep bouncing into you. The slow homing meteor that leaves a trail does weird stuff where it goes off the top of the screen sometimes. I am not sure what is happening in the last phase or why.

Thanks to InfernOwl, he tested the other side of the torch (run into the right of the torch instead of the left, for the torch counterclockwise from Furius), and that seems to give a better chance of the meteor moving past you, and it also protects you from the shots coming from the big balls that shoot bullets at you. So use this alternative spot for the last phase when you can.

some small tricks for runs

1) apparently you can use the arrow keys to select your destination on the romap screen, so this is faster than typing out mandrione or porta inferni or whatever, it will be faster regardless of your typing skill.

2) you can type while the screen is fading in and you can't see the words on any boss.  of course you have to have the 1st couple of words memorized to do it, but this allows you to type shut up on cesar before you even finish fading in, among other head starts.

3) you can stand by the graffiti by the dumpster to the right of cesar and the bullets will break before they hit you.  this will cut the fight down to like 15-20 seconds and make it trivial.

4) phase 3 of Matthew where he uses the time bombs the 1st time, if you are in the center of the room where he spawns the bomb, you can just stand still and his spray attack will likely not hit you (matthew's position is not the same every time, so there's a small chance you get hit, but it's rare).  if you make no typing mistakes and go fast you can finish the phase before he sends the 2nd bomb, you can skip it.  you only have to disarm 1 bomb in this fight if you are fast.

5) for the final phase of Enoch Varg, you can type while the camera is zoomed in on him.  the beginning part of the sentence is "pray the god of peace to crush satan..." so memeorize that and you can just type away.

6) on the master fight, if you don't make mistakes while you are lit on fire, it should not delete any letters from your words.  there is a speed component to it but it's not super fast, just dont stop typing for too long.

7) the word jumble in the furius fight is random.  if you are most of the way through a word it won't jumble that word, but if you are less than halfway it will likely shuffle around.

8 ) laurentius' numbers added to words are random where they are added and if it's luck if it's a 1 or a 0.  the only way to deal with this is that before it adds the numbers, you have like 5 seconds to type as many words as possible to make it easier on you/ faster.

9) on phase 5 of lileth, after she spawns the bullets that mirror your movements, move in 1 direction (down should work the best if possible) then just stop moving.  they will just keep going in that direction and go so far away by the time you have to dodge anything that that phase just becomes trivial.

10) for any demon form boss except lileth, you should make an effort to type the words that appear before you lose your book because there is a chance the book lands close to where you are and you can pick up where you left off, saving substantial time.  worst case you just end up practicing the beginning part of the phase.  this is most important on the master fight since his time from phase start to ego voco diaboli is the longest.  I say not to worry about it on lileth because a) she has a really short time from phase start to demon form and you wont get much more than 1 word off and b ) she has the most health and so far I haven't been able to get the book fast enough after demon form ends even when it was basically on top of me. she just has too much health.
